Noticed that too. I guess they could both stay there? Seems awkward tho. Maybe Sue stays with her mom. Or they’re not there at the same time? Megan seemed super into the designing of that place- maybe she wants to see spend time there if she’s in town?

She probably has a burner shes used for a while, and this will be her “official” one. As long as there wasn’t any shade or wild speculation, I wouldn’t worry too much. I would be bet most athlete/famous person sees a lot of what is out there. At least eventually.

I know anon, me too. 😔 They seemed like the most unbreakable couple. I think for me it will only seem real once one of them pops out with another girlfriend. My money’s on Sue.

I know. My guess is they will. I think they are still kinda sharing the same manager, and if she’s there they may all hang. Or at least cross paths. Yeah, I wonder if it’s as cordial as their statement made it out to be. If it is, then they should totally be able to have a chill run in. Or maybe it’s still too soon and raw for that to happen. Last 2 years they’ve gone to this together- have to think that might make it hard this year.

Oh wow. I didn’t know there was an older brother. Or had forgotten it. Yeah- he was almost never mentioned. Super sad. But if this was in October, all seemed still fairly okay. I keep going back to the soccer game- there’s this super cute video of Megan running up to Sue in her pink wig and Sue like grabbing her face and kissing her- that seems normal behavior for them. Who knows, maybe Megan thought it’d be better if she could go on her own. I feel like Sue has shown up to most of Megan’s family stuff over the years.

Wow- they sure kept that out of the media. So super sad. It always sounded like he lived a hard life. It’s hard to tell from her writing if Sue was with her or not. In all those November pink wig NWSL final pics and posts they seemed cute and together like they always have. She wrote her a cute bday post. But yeah, this sure could have shifted her priorities.

Anon- where are you getting this from? Haven’t heard a thing, and nothing came up on a search. Do you have inside info?

Agree- she really did speak so thoughtfully about it. And kinda confirmed the split had been in the works for awhile. Listening to her, I definitely think retirement was a big factor in it all. Like, maybe once they had all the time in the world together, they realized they weren’t super compatible. Or had different ideas abt what it would look like. Seems like Megan didn’t love doing the pod together. Yeah, I don’t see them talking a ton abt it publicly. Maybe Sue will say her piece in a similar way. Still really, really surprised abt this break up. Never, ever thought it was possible.

Yes, clearly she is going thru some stuff. Wonder if they just weren’t on the same page abt how they’d spend their time? Or Megan needed more from Sue? Sue had a head start on retirement, so she had already found a path for herself by the time Megan joined her. They just seemed so in sync that if there was a bump, they’d get past it together.

I don’t know- maybe ads? I just did a cursory check, and I don’t see anything really missing. All her posts with Sue seem to still be up. Made me so sad to go back in time and see them when they were happy. 😢

Really, i only watched the beginning. I thought she looked okay. Poor baby.

I know- I was thinking the same thing earlier today. But it’s only been a week for us- not for them. They have had a much longer time to process this. And if their public appearances this week are any indication, they seem to be doing fine. It’s all us fans who are still reeling!

I wasn’t a fan back when they were supposedly dating, so I can’t totally confirm. I think it was in the 2015 time frame, and before? They definitely posted together multiple times. An inactive blogger on here that lives in Seattle and has been a longtime fan, described it as a kinda messy fwb situation that went on for years. Who knows. Sue said in an article she had 2 long term relationships before she met Megan, and this is rumored to have been one.

Yeah, Megan’s always been good on pods and has a good way of explaining the things simply- very real and authentic. I think she’ll have no difficulties handling a solo pod. And Sue already does. I think her Birds Eye is the best 🏀 one. She asks good questions and I feel like her guests are really open. Guessing Sue will basketball peeps and Megan will have soccer ones for these last few.

Yeah, no. I don’t think this was sudden or abrupt at all. I have anons going and looking back as far as December and saw no rings. And look, I don’t think wearing or not wearing a ring means everything. There could be legit reasons one of them took it off But it seems like most of March and April, when they weren’t filming, there were no rings. As for why the announcement just happened, we don’t know. Maybe one of them was finally ready to call it. Maybe they had a last therapy session and decided it was time. Maybe the plan was always to announce and then wean off of the podcast as a duo. I think they probably could do a pod together, but maybe it feels disingenuous to do it now that the public knows they’re not together. Megan is going to start her own, so maybe this is a transition for her to lead on her own. Who knows. But as sudden as it feels to us, I think was anything but a rash decision for Sue and Megan. All we can do is wish them both the best moving forward.

I’d guess they’re just using that space to film. Sue’s had that condo for years- since like 2011. I’d be super surprised if she sold it. And I’d be surprised if Megan wanted it. I bet Megan already has her own place. Was probably the first thing she did.
