there’s this popular post that went around where people yelled at a man who said “i wish my girlfriend could make this” referring to a huge sandwich which makes me really uncomfortable because there’s a 99pc chance no one checked whether or not he’s disabled. also a lot of analysis of [abled] m/f relationships dynamics talk about how women have to do so much extra work which is bad but what about disabled men? could they not at least note that abled women have a tonne of power over disabled male partners and are also not bending to misogyny/unfair obligation to unpaid labour if they assist with what the disabled partner cannot do?
