Ngl sometimes I'd like to get comments on my 100-word drabbles that don't go out of their way to mention the length. Even when the comments are positive ones, they constantly come across like...positive but with a catch or positive in spite of what it is. Like "Wow, this is good for how short it is" or "Short but I liked it" or "I love this idea, I wish there was more" or "I want to see this expanded on", etc, etc.
I'm glad you liked it. I just kinda wish you liked it for what it is and not what it could be if it were longer. Sometimes 100 words is all I have to give. Sometimes 100 words is all I need to give. I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I am very grateful for getting comments at all. It can just be disheartening when the feedback has to point out the small word count and it makes a drabble feel smaller and less significant, whether intentionally or not

This is a full story because it has a beginning and an end and I conveyed the message I wanted to convey and thus fulfilled the goal I set out to and just because I did that in "only" 100 words doesn't mean it's less valuable or has less potential than any other story
