Percabeth pregnancy + birth headcanons because why not
When Percy and Annabeth found out, they were super thrilled because they always wanted kids together but also, they were scared. They don't want their kid to grow up like they did
They promise each other that their kid(s) are going to grow up loved and safe
They try to hide it for a short time but Sally is the first one to figure out that Annabeth is pregnant and she is super excited
Shortly after, they tell their friends and everyone is super happy
Annabeth is super bored, because she can't do fun things like playing capture the flag
She can't do nothing in a monster attack except just hiding or staying away
But even when she hates it, she still does it because of her baby
Everyone bets which gender the baby is, even Annabeth and Percy
They don't care tho, their only wish is that the baby is healthy
They argue about whether they should keep the gender a surprise or not
Annabeth convinces Percy to find out about the gender before she gives birth, so she is ready and can prepare herself
I personally think that they had a daughter because it would kind of fit them, but this is only my guess
Annabeth absolutely loves to buy baby clothes and she thinks it's adorable
The first 3 months of her pregnancy were sometimes really rough (vomited alot, dizziness, moody, always tired and hungry) and she always blames Hera, no matter what
She craves Sally's blue cookies and chips like all the time
She always demands to eat Percy's or someone else's last cookie and if they don't want to hand it over she makes a 10 minute presentation that she's eating for two
"Percy, do you want your daughter to starve?"
The person (most of the time Percy) eventually gives up
Percy loves to put his hand on Annabeth's belly and talk to the baby about his day and how much he wants to meet it
When she gives birth she is really stressed out and edgy because she is already 10 hours in labor
Of course, she blames Hera and every single person she dislikes
*curses in ancient Greek multiple times about how she hates hera and the world*
Percy is completely overwhelmed but he doesn't mind being yelled at, because he knows that she is in pain and he just tries to help her
Sally is there too and encourages her to push one last time
When Percy and Annabeth hold their little baby girl with her little sweet blond curls and beautiful sea-green eyes in their arms, they feel like their life is complete (I know that babies usually don't have their real eye colour when they are born, but I just wanted to visualise her looking alike both Annabeth and Percy)
All their demigod friends INSTANTLY fall in love with the baby
