«Kylo? Can I come in?»

«Urgh, why?»

«I just want to tell you something.»

She dropped her robe on the floor while walking to him. He couldn’t even think straight at the sight of her almost naked body. Strangely, a weird feeling of hollowness filled him as she touched her cheek.

«You know, Mer... I don’t think I can do this. I’m sorry.»

«Kylo, sweetheart!»

Kylo raised an eyebrow, suspicious.

«What is it?»

«Nothing. It’s just that I know her and I didn’t think she was your type.»

«What’s my type then?»

Kylo went downstairs and found Sydney, Meredith’s twin, in front of a bowl of cereal. He didn’t really know her, never talked to her either. He only saw her at school, quiet, discreet and always accompanied by her boyfriend.

«Hey, Kylo. Weren’t you at the party? What are you doing here?»

«I came with your sister.»

«Hey would you mind giving me some time? I’d like to change from those clothes. It’s not that confortable.»

«What do you think about ditching this party and going back to my house? My parents are gone for winter break.»

«I really like you, Kylo.»
