Good news everyone, Mod Napoleon has discovered a new type of siege unit!

Mornin’, afternoon and/or evening all! 

Our Civ match will be tonight at 7pm (BST) ‘til either someone wins (unlikely), someone rage quits (me probably) or someone falls asleep (definitely me).

Any problems just let me know, and make sure to add me on Steam if you haven’t already so I can invite you to the game (I’ve no clue how to do it otherwise ‘cos public games are just a nightmare).

Me (Mod Catherine) and Mod Napoleon (simmeringtea) are planning on holding a Civ V beginners match for anyone who’s interested.

We’ll be around next weekend if anyone would like to get involved - either by playing a game on a lower difficulty, in teams (which is a really fun way to play if you haven’t tried it yet!) or both! 

So if you’re a simblr and you’re wanting to get starting playing Civ, just pop a message to either of us or simnitednations! 

Good morning everyone! This information will probably be added to the different pages, but just as a heads up or a reminder for anyone who might be using our tagging system, or would like their game linked through us in the future to showcase:

When tagging on Tumblr, either through tracked tags or using the search function, only the first five tags on your post will show up! So, when you make a post that you want others to be able to see or find, it’s a good idea to put the most important tags (such as tracked usernames, your group match tag, etc) first, followed by everything else, if you either use more than 5 tags or add commentary in them! 

Just thought I’d mention this since personally, I wasn’t aware this was a thing until a few months ago, so maybe some of you might not be know, and it wouldn’t do much good to try to tag us or tag your game if no one can see it!

As though this weekend’s special offer on all Civ 5 titles wasn’t enough, it looks like its slightly less successful sci-fi follow up game is just sitting tantalisingly in all our Steam libraries for free, available to play and test out until Sunday night. I’m definitely going to try it and would reccomend it to anyone else interested - I mean, it’s FREE!

Additional News:

Mods Napoleon and Catherine (simmeringtea and rayscho) are in the process of organizing a Newbie game! There is little information at this time, but if you’re new to Civ V and would like help while playing, keep an eye out for more info!

Mod-Created Guides are soon to be in the works! These will include basic help on how to play the game for those who are new to Civ V or Civilization, but may also include tips for other aspects of the game as well. There isn’t any other information at this time, but in the meantime, if you have anything in particular you’d like advice or help on, feel free to message us here and one of us will gladly help you!
