Phenirith started their journey a druid but became very disillusioned with the order after coming to the emerald grove and seeing the way their people were treated by the druids there. After their party helped save the tiefling refugees at the grove, they again come to their aid at moonrise towers. However, tragedy struck when a few of the tieflings were killed while escaping the prison before making it back to the last light inn… including Danis. It was then that Phenirith chose to abandon the druid way and become a paladin, swearing an oath of vengeance. Phenirith’s chaotic good alignment doesn’t always necessarily adhere to the code of paladin oaths though and they were dubbed oathbreaker for double crossing Gortash??

Phenirith was happy for Lae’zel’s company and assistance when escaping the nautiloid, but the more they came to know her, and relating to being treated as less than by many of the people around them… they started to fall in love. They will always do what is best for her wellbeing, though some of their other allies want things that threaten that wellbeing.
