Love advice
Those traitors. It's because of them that Katsuki finds himself in his parent's house instead of his own apartment like he asked.
His head is killing him; Katsuki doesn't like to get wasted, he doesn't even like to drink that much, but sometimes, when his heart is aching for Izuku in a way it's almost painful, the pro hero chooses to drown his sorrow in alcohol because he's as fucking pathetic as all of those extras hopelessly in love.
Even though it works for a few hours, now his headache reminds him why he doesn't enjoy doing this. This is probably the last time... well, if Izuku gets married to some extra, he'll do it again.
"Here, take this."
It's barely a whisper, but Katsuki feels the words hammering his skull a couple of times; he tries not to growl at his father, and takes the pills and the glass of water his old man is offering.
He grunts as a thank you because he doesn't think he can talk at the moment.
"Look at this! A drunk pro hero!"
"It was my fucking day off, old hag!" He snarls, noticing there's a bit of worry in his mother's eyes. "Sorry. It won't happen again."
He's an asshole still, but not as much as he was in middle school, even he has learned to be grateful for the people who take care of him.
"Izuku-kun?" Mitsuki asks, more gentle this time.
"He went on a date with a stupid extra."
Katsuki feels another wave of pain, but this time in his chest. The nerd has been trying his luck on those stupid dating apps, and even though he's gone on a couple of dates; it hasn't quite worked out for him.
The pro hero can't lie, he feels relief whenever that happens.
"Your friends mentioned you talked about him the whole night," Masaru says, sitting next to his son on the bed.
"Those fucking traitors." Katsuki bares his teeth and regrets it as soon as he feels his head like it's been torn apart.
"He wouldn't go on dates with other people if you told him how you feel, you stupid brat!"
"He doesn't like me-"
"You don't know that."
Katsuki doesn't have the energy to argue with his mother, so he only grumbles and tries to put his head back on the pillow, closing his eyes in the process.
Mitsuki sighs.
"I'll make breakfast."
"I'm not hungry."
"You can eat it later."
She leaves, but Masaru doesn't follow, he stay for a while with him, like when he was a brat.
"Do you remember when I told you about how I met your mother? And what made me realize she was the one for me?"
"You said she basically didn't give you a choice."
Masaru chuckles, probably revisiting old memories with Katsuki's mother. Ugh. If he keeps talking about that, Katsuki will definitely end up throwing up.
"Those were your words. Not mine. I said she pursued me like she does all the things she's determined to achieve: with a strong will and a lot of passion."
Katsuki grimaces, noticing that his headache is not as bad as when he woke up.
"And what about it?"
"You should do the same."
The pro hero can't hold back a blush; his father is being unfair by bringing that topic when Katsuki is at his weakest point.
"I... I don't want him to end up with me just because I'm constantly harassing-"
"That's not what your mother did," his father cuts him off, a bit irritated by the word. "I was very shy back then; I would have never approached a woman like your mother on my own, even though I was mesmerized by her. I thought I wasn't on her level, and when my mind got stuck in that self-deprecating place, I often found myself missing obvious signals because I couldn't quite believe someone would love me that much."
Katsuki doesn't say anything after a while; he gets a bit surprised by the sudden, raw honesty in his father's words.
"Your mother showed me again, and again how much she loved me, until I finally believed it. And I think Izuku-kun is like me."
Despite feeling his younger self cringing at the thought, he starts considering following his mother's steps, at least when it comes to pursuing the love of his life.

Izuku misses Katsuki; it's been just one day without him and yet the teacher wants to see him again. Especially after what happened the other night; he has no idea why he doesn't give up on trying to find someone for him. His heart belongs to Katsuki, and every time he sees another person, he can't help but think about his childhood friend.
It's not fair for anyone.
He sighs, knowing that the pro hero is at his parents' house and he'll probably be there until Monday.
Izuku considers going out, perhaps go for a run that Sunday morning, mostly to distract himself, but he decides against it on the last minute.
A desperate knock on his door startles him, and he wonders who could that be; his neighbors are usually asleep at this hour of the day.
When he opens the door and sees Katsuki at the other side, he can't help but beam at him.
"Kacchan, I thought you were going to stay at your parents' the whole weekend."
"Change of plans, I missed you so damn much."
Izuku blinks, feeling his face turning red; he does know Katsuki appreciates him as a friend, but he's never said those things with such intensity.
"I-I missed you too."
Katsuki smirks in response, stepping inside Izuku's place like it's his own. Then he turns around and pulls the surprised, and slightly confused teacher in his arms.
"So... did you like the idiot you went on a date with the other day?"
"Don't call him-never mind... No, I don't think we're meant for each other."
"That's great!"
"Kacchan!" Izuku scolds him, still very puzzled by his behavior; it's true that he doesn't seem very enthusiastic when the teacher tells him he's going on a date with someone, but he's never been that loud about it.
Maybe he's getting sick?
Katsuki chuckles before pulling him even closer, and heading towards the couch, he sits the very flustered teacher on his lap, facing him.
"I know that expression. No, nerd, I wasn't hit by a weird quirk or anything. I'm just so fucking happy because I still have a chance with you. I love you so damn much I can't believe I haven't said it to your face. The old hag is right, I'm an idiot!"
Still not sure he heard right, Izuku blinks a couple of times, trying to process the information.
"What?"
The pro hero smiles again, looking almost drunk with happiness. He presses his forehead against Izuku's before cradling his face with both hands.
"Go on a date with me, baby. Give me a chance, what do you say?"
Izuku is pretty sure Katsuki wants to kill him. A petname? He's sure his heart is going to get out of his chest if he keeps calling him that with such a look of adoration in his eyes. Maybe the teacher is stuck in one of those amazing dreams again.
"Izuku, are you..." The worry on the pro hero's face disappears when he realizes what's happening to his cute nerd. Nobody knows him like Katsuki. "Oh, you like me calling you baby?"
The teacher cover his face, and makes a distressed, but happy sound. He's so flustered he knows the blush has spread down his neck.
"Baby, let's go on a date tonight," Katsuki purrs, kissing Izuku's cheeks as soon as he manages to gently push his arms away, before rubbing their noses together.
"Is it true, Kacchan? D-Do you love me?"
"I have been in love with you most of my life, Izuku," Katsuki throws another devastating smile at him, so full of devotion that makes the teacher feel warm and fuzzy inside.
"I love you too, Kacchan." He blurts out after a couple of seconds. He beams with every word.
This time, it's Katsuki's turn to blush, but he recovers fast enough to finally press his lips against Izuku's.
"I fucking wasted so much time believing you didn't feel the same," Katsuki growls against his nerd's soft lips, feeling the sudden need to devour him.
"To be fair, I was in the same situation," Izuku mumbles, after a purr escapes from his lips; he closes his eyes to enjoy the sensation of Katsuki's kisses over his neck.
A mischievous smirk appears in the pro hero's face; he rises from the couch, carrying the teacher in his arms with ease, and he walks directly to Izuku's bedroom.
"Kacchan..."
"I need to show you, baby." Katsuki whispers against his ear, pressing another kiss on his throat, although this is hungrier than the last. "I need to show you how much I love you so this doesn't happen again."
There's no need for that, but Izuku is not going to stop Katsuki.
"You're mine, Izuku."
"All yours, Kacchan."
