-max houses now sadly -have only gotten Eevee islands from Ditto/substitute dolls so I think it's safe to say no other islands are available -got all the pokemon listed in the previous progress post. waiting on goodra because berry bed showed up in the shop but it just refuses to spawn :/

• Still waiting on a few pokemon to spawn (Weepinbell, Victreebel, Charizard mainly). I think having so many pokemon is preventing them from spawning consistently but I'm shoving them into leaf houses as fast as I can. • I can build 3 houses at once now. :) • I expect trades to be my main source of new items for habitats, since I can cycle through several pokemon a day. The islands are second since they have a variety of items, both in pokeballs and set up already on the island. Vespiquen only gives me 4 but it's useful knowing they're all from furniture sets. • Finally got a Ditto plush from Search, but it took me to another Eevee island. I don't actually expect to get other types of islands tbh but we'll see. • Got a garbage can from an island and garbage bags from Tyrogue trade, so I'm hoping to get Garbador and have a source of trash + iron ore; I can't really use them for much but it's at least another couple of resources I can reliably get. • Getting a luxury couch will give me Persian; a fireplace for Typhlosion; a second wooden partition for Cinccino. The islands can get me all the fossils eventually. Getting more rain can spawn Sliggoo and Azumarill. Getting more types of berries (only have Pecha and Rawst) can let me build the berry furniture habitat. • I didn't notice it at the time, but I did get damp-hedge seeds from somewhere; there's 3 so I'm suspecting from sparkling water. Hopefully I'll get more types from the other areas; Stylish hedge would net me Altaria. Any base flower would unlock a bunch more habitats and pokemon.

I'm hoping I'll be able to use the drinks at some point, otherwise the habitats involving muddy/hot spring water and lava are out of reach completely.

So, maybe, the system knew that Ditto would be able to copy Squirtle's water gun ability. And it reasoned that Ditto might restore the grass and create a habitat suitable enough to release Bulbasaur. And Ditto could copy Bulbasaur's leafage ability and create even more habitats to release even more pokemon.
