I saw this on bsky last night and had to draw the guy

and then i couldnt come in for a while and then i came in again today for just a charger. and i said "that's it today" with a smile. and he looked at me with a gleam in his eye and said "no it isn't. you'll be back later. you'll have to get thirsty eventually, won't you?" with this conniving smile that made me realize i WAS thirsty. i'm out of my depth here. help

My favorite firework video on the internet is this one, where 45 minutes worth of fireworks are accidentally detonated all at once on July 4th 2012 in San Diego. The sound is magnificent. It's the end of days. Infinitely better than the show they planned.

the famous "nonthreatening feminist boy" photograph from 2013 was made entirely practically. The "mirror" effect, which would now be trivial to produce in any photo editor, was achieved by filling the room face-deep with mercury and shackling him to the floor so he didn't float to the surface
