50. Create your own! For all three, what subjectively BAD experience would they voluntarily repeat, and why?
Parhelia - Maybe this is the easy way out of answering this question for her, but it would be being raised as a Death Knight. If she could just avoid dying completely then that would be great, but if that was going to happen regardless… she would repeat being raised. The process itself and the first several years were pretty bad, even if it turned her into a new person that could handle and even revel in it. And while she did a lot of bad things that she would rather not have happened… she now has an infinite number of years to do better things, and enjoy what’s really a better life than she had even when she was alive.
Xorel’yn - Inheriting her father’s demon. It was an awful experience and it came with the knowledge that her father had just died. And though she hasn’t been able to do much with it yet, it’s still important to her that she’s carrying on part of a family legacy, even if she suffered for it.
Desolae - This one was hard to figure out, and I don’t think there IS a good answer for Des. There’s lots of bad shit she would do again like her whole thing with Red and the messy family shit that lead to that, but that’s because she doesn’t consider the situations themselves bad/’at fault’, and they were/are a formative part of her life that she isn’t willing to give up. Better the devil you know. She’s also sure that they seemed bad only because she didn’t have her head in the right place, so she might WANT to redo them to try to tough it out ‘better’.
EDIT: Of course the moment I post this, I think of a great answer for Des! When she went through the Dark Portal and hunted down her House and family members that had betrayed her and Xo by siding with Kael’thas. Her reasons for it were bad, she was in a bad place mentally, and the whole experience just made it worse. But it was her duty to cull the traitors and she would do it again in a heartbeat.
