She knew something was wrong the moment she showed up to whatever this place was, but no one would tell her anything. It was just all answers that avoided what was going on outside, things that kept her in the dark. But with Enid, she was determined to hear about it. Her sneakers crunched leaves on the sidewalk while she made her way over to someone who had her back towards her. Enid stopped behind them, her hand gripping their arm, āTell me what the fuck is going on, I want to know now.ā
quite a dangerous move
If there was one thing that should be considered an unspoken rule in this town, it was to not grab somebody unsuspecting. It didnāt usually go over well, and Allison wasnāt really an exception. She had to be more on guard, constantly, and with that came weaponry being readily available twenty-four seven. So when somebody grabbed her, she was quick to spin on her heel to face the possible assailant, knife held up in her hand and poised to strike if she deemed the other to be a threat.
She was met with a determined-lookingĀ girl, who looked around her age, who clearly didnāt know where she was. Pulling herself back from the others grasp, she lowered her weapon, although didnāt quite sheath it.Ā āWeāre in a place called Blackpool. Everybody seems to just wake up here,ā she almost hesitated, thinking some from the dead, but not adding that tidbit,Ā āNobody knows why.ā
The teenager doubted that the other girl knew much about what was going on if she even knew anything at all.Ā āItās dangerous, so you probably shouldnāt come up to people like that. Some of the others wouldnāt have hesitated to attack,ā She knew that well enough, having had some unpleasant reactions when she stumbled into areas she didnāt know well, where others were facing off the walkers.
