🚨ITS AUGUST Y’ALL THIS ISNT A DRILL🚨

I’m sorry I’ve been MIA for two weeks, i went to visit my Airman at his base and i wanted to make sure i made the most of every moment with him.

The trip was AMAZING and much needed. I love going to visit him where he lives because we get to be alone, and it gives me the most enticing glimpse of what our future is going to be like. It rained most of the time i was there, so we didn’t get to go to the beach much but we watched a lot of Netflix and ate a lot of good food 😊

I go back to college in 3 days, and while I’m extremely excited to see all of my friends again, I’m also super nervous about having to take statistics because I’m so bad at math. So if any of y’all know how to do math just left me know 😂

It’s Sunday!!!

It’s been a long week, but it’s been a good one ☺️

Work was extremely slow because of rain and thunderstorms, so i didn’t work as much as usual but i got time to read some of my favorite books and spend time with my sister. We ate at the most amazing French restaurant on Friday afternoon and we split a creme brûlée, which was probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had!

I get to see my Airman next week, I’m flying down to Florida to see him on Saturday. I got my nails done yesterday, and they’re the perfect shade of sunshine yellow! Just one more week of work and every day life, and then i get to spend 5 days with my best friend. I’m so beyond excited to see him.

GUYS WE’RE HALFWAY THROUGH JULY! 🎆

It has been one of the busiest weeks of my life.

Monday and Tuesday were my days off from work, and i spent both of them sleeping, eating, and napping. It seemed like a normal week.

And then Wednesday rolled around.

I woke up feeling fine Wednesday, and then i went to work. As I’ve mentioned before, the place where i work refuses to fix the air conditioning in the small building i work in, and as a waitress i spend 8 hours running around outside taking orders on a patio, waiting inside a hot building for food to come up for my tables, and not being able to take a break because of our understaffing problem. I ended up passing out at work, and my coworkers had to call an ambulance to come get me. I was overheated and the poor conditions caused my heart condition to flare up, which means i have to start seeing a cardiologist again.

My manager decided to give me the rest of the week off, but i tried to go back on Friday so i could make some money, but halfway through my shift i felt dizzy so i had to go home.

Yesterday i got into a fight with my Airman because he spent 12 hours playing Fortnite on his XBox. For those of you MILSOs that know what Fortnite is, you probably also know how easily guys get addicted to it. He ignored 3 of my phone calls and took hours to text me back, so i ended up telling him i needed some time and stopped texting him around 8pm.

I spent the night at one of my best friend’s houses, we made cookies and watched Sponge Bob, it was a much needed girls night!

Today i drove down to college and collected the rest of my things from my apartment. It’s a 3 hour drive to get there, so i woke up super early, loaded up the car, and headed back home. I’m sitting on my couch now about to take a nap, and I’ve never been happier to be sitting on a couch.
