First design of Naoli the Cat (2013 Feb.) Second redesign (2013 Aug.) and latest drawing (2015) 

Not long after creating Noomi the Cat in 2012 I had an idea of an alternate time counterpart: that’s when I made Naoli the cat. Even though I have drawn plenty of concepts of her earlier, I uploaded one to Deviantart for the first time in early 2013(left) I wanted to make Naoli a rather shy and weak character on the surface. Basically Noomi’s opposite.

Unlike in Noomi’s time, in Naoli’s ‘era’ there were no wars and battles, therefore Naoli grew up as an average teenager who goes to school and lives with her family. As stated in Noomi’s bio, she died in the war and doctors tried to bring her back to life because her skills were needed in the battles. After about 200 years of experimenting- as technology improved- they managed to clone her, that’s how Naoli was born. She was adopted by a doctor couple and raised without Naoli knowing anything about her past.

I was 12 when I first came up with the idea and drew Noomi the cat (drawing on the left). Surprisingly enough she was my *sonic oc*. I wanted Noomi to be a badass futuristic warrior with a cool sword and all that epicness. In 2012 and 2013 I drew her a lot and uploaded it to my Deviantart (you can check it if you want tho I’m not very fond of them) Then in 2014 I went on hiatus because I was struggling with depression as the outcome of certain life events. At the beginning of 2015 I decided to revive her and give her a new look. My style has changed over time, and I wanted to make my art more original therefore I completely abandoned my sonic-related art. Now Noomi and my other former sonic ocs have a rather furry-ish look which I’m kinda satisfied with at the moment.

BASIC INFO aka what you might want to know about Noomi: She is a soldier/”warrior” –> dies in a battle and then gets resurrected(cloned actually) 200 yrs later. Clone’s name is Naoli. Noomi’s personality: she’s your type of badass strong quiet character lol

Noomi’s old detailed backstory (i haven’t even turned 13 at the time) can be found here actually I don’t wish to change it, and I’m too lazy to reword it into decent english, so mind my “language”.
