to start this is how he came and his hole is made from the santa hat 😭 i cut the hat off and seam ripped his crotch to start

for the hat i cut off the white parts and seam ripped it open to get a weird trapezoid of fabric. i folded it in half with the soft part inside and just did a basic running stitch by hand along the long side and the shorter of the short sides, making sure the resulting cylinder fit my finger. flipped that inside out so the soft was on the outside then lined up the seam with the seam on his crotch and did a basic looping connector stitch all the way around the edge of the hole i made. (side note i put more stuffing in him before this so he'd be more solid)

there was a bit of his seam i had to fix and close because the hole was larger than what i was adding but with hand sewing you have a lot more control over where it goes. it wasn't too difficult

after that i used a pencil to poke the fabric into him and it made the hole! for his t-dick i used thicker embroidery thread and just made a knot

as for like the scale of it uhh mostly i can say work slowly and hide your tail ends and mess ups in the body part where you won't see it! and use shorter thread so it won't tangle as much. most of it is just that basic flat running stitch to make the hole then looping the two fabrics together. if it doesn't work out you can always start over
