Vivid jump rope squad with a ramble under the cut who would have guessed
I tried to give everyone a different jump style based off of different aspects of themselves ( note that it’s not totally serious nor does it 100% match up with their current standings )
Kohane: the only one who is jumping backwards. Instead of having the rope swing in front of her it swings behind her. This is to show off her confidence in the basics while also getting a bit ansy to go beyond.
An: the only one doing a cross over while she’s jumping. It’s a bit of a call back to how she was early story, where she was trying to show off to Kohane as someone to look up to. This isn’t a terribly hard skill to learn and Kohane could pull it off as well. But for now, it looks cool as hell. ( please ignore that with the way I animated it, what An is doing is physically impossible - her hair would have gotten caught in the rope. )
Touya: largely based on his experience with the Kendama and also loosely based on SDSD, he’s starting off with the classic jump. He’s capable of going beyond with what he’s doing at the moment, but he’s mastering the basics first.
Akito: Feet on the ground, boy. Come on. Largely based on how he always gets a little too into whatever he’s doing, as long as it has something to do with music. He’s also the only one who is out of sync with the others.
