I've always thought that Kanade and Stella are similar (to the point that I wonder if Stella might have been an inspiration for the PRSK devs for Kanade's character) so I'd really like to hear more about your thoughts on your drawings ☺️ your Akito art is lovely also!

HELLO ANON SORRY I FORGOT THAT I HAD A STRAWPAGE Sending it here was a smart move ( ill post ur sp on twt in a few days ill explain in a minute dw dw i did legit forget i had one though ) ANYWAYS

i do have to be a bit of a party pooper and say I have yet to read/find an translation of the light novel ( searching though ) so my knowledge of the series is largely limited to the songs themselves ( and the little moments between the girls and dr realist )

Starting off with Kanade and Stella... oh my god absolutely the self-sacrificing and even the design... That she was somewhat content( ? poor wording ) to stay trapped in her darkness if it meant she could try to save people with her wishes and even taking the blame and grieving when despite her efforts she couldn't save them... Just replacing wishes with music and boom! Kanade. Staying in that darkness as punishment for not being able to save anyone either? :((. With where prsk is taking n25 i feel like theyre ramping up to the rest of n25 having their Deep Sea Heart moment...

as for the rest of the characters in this au not all of them are like fully set and stone except for 4 BUT once again coming in and saying I based the prsk au off of the Colorful/Monochrome voice route so certain decisions ( esp aktys ) are based off of that inclusion.. and also personal bias' but thats the fun of aus yada yada

starting off with Rui / Dr Realist it was kinda just based off aesthetic at first im ngl. but then him being rejected by the program and general like mistrust/disregard of others due to that rejection are kinda the bigger paralleles. the biggest plot hole with him as dr realist is that.. Rui wouldnt kill/hurt people regardless of whether he sees them as a program or not. Ruis a good kid. I tweaked my perception of him in this au ever so slightly where the town itself is a program ( not sure if this is the case in the light novels sorry if it is ) and Rui has to shut down the program for one reason or another and has to retrieve Stella ( Kanade ) but is facing an error and cannot which is why hes going from everyone's wishes trying to find someone already in the system to help retrieve Stella yada yada. it plays into the "world is gonna end soon" aspect that im choosing to take a lil more literally than what's implied in the series itself.

which leads into Touya -> Tensei/Rho and Akito -> Maigo/Faker-Train ( its so corny i love it ). Ill start with Touya cause i feel like on the surface its the most ???????? decision BUT for the rest of the characters its dependent on mainstory characterization / decisions. So for the Maigo parallel its dependent on the Running away because the person that they like wont accept them as they are now and the wish that they could be someone else so that they could be accepted by them more intimately. WIth Tensei she became a boy version of herself so that she could date Maigo and with Touya he becomes Tono ( aka a more dedicated / passionate partner. ) I want the towns wishes to be more unintentional( ? ) so Touyas wish would be granted BEFORE the actual fight. Also with how the wishes work its once again taking a more literal approach and having the wish makers disappear from the 'real world' much like how Tensei disappeared in 'Maigos world' ill get more into that in a minute. But Touya would return to "reality" and meet Dr Realist/Rui because of "Akitos" refusal to actually engage with Tono like he would with Touya ( and also 'akito' not shutting up about Touya being the best partner yada yada ) which leads to Akito Maigo.. ( addendum in here Touya would sympathize with Kanade and Rui, and want to repay Kanade for her gift even if he didnt fully accept it. He shares that tendency with Kanade where they sabatoge themselves for the sake of others, so Touyas got the mindset of 'Im willing to remain gone for the sake of saving another' meanwhile Akito will find out eventually and will be upset ) There would be two akitos ( one in reality who is looking for Touya while hes gone and the "akito" who is also looking for Touya who only realizes what happened when Touya leaves and after the convo with Rui. Aka Glitchy 'Akito' failing to fulfill his programming he is angry yada yada he wants revenge yada yada when Kanade gets saved Akito and 'Akito' merge and we get Faker-Train ( god its so corny. )) The only reason why I'm pushing that Akito be Maigo/Train is cause he would be the only one who gets upset that Touya ran away from him 3 times ( to stella away from stella and then with rui to stella ) rather than actually talking to him. He holds onto his anger a bit longer than in canon. Also with the aspect of The World is Ending Soon, Akito is a lot more impatient to surpass Rad Weekend which means that if hes gonna surpass it its gotta be asap aka stop fucking around Touya isnt coming back ( this is post freeing stella I think the world takes a few days to actually like, die ) aka hey doing a concert with Shuudou that is guaranteed to be on par with Rad Weekend due to the amount of people and 'Life Changing-ness" is better than not surpassing it at all. Aka Colorful and Monochrome Voice. Its playing with dolls atp but I enjoy the canons for both series separately so why not have some fun with it?

Speaking of shuudou ( holy shit my fav hello shuudou ).. actually thats kinda relevent I dont have a solid placement for shuudou. Im really leaning towards Ena and specifically her feelings regarding social media vs her art, but its not solid enough to put her there? For the record I dont think anyone in the cast would accidentally kill a priest and make a wish to forget that they killed the priest over wishing to bring him back OR hurt themselves purely for the sake of making people feel bad for getting bored of them BUT i do nominate Ena more so for how she handled rejection EARLY GAME. ENA HAS GROWN FROM THIS PORTION OF HER LIFE ENAS GONE THROUGH GROWTH IN CANON!!! Im moreso thinking of her relationship with Shinei and more more specifically of her pushing her father in the river as a kid, and how that translated in a way to her relationship with social media and garnering attention there and her upset with not garnering the same attention on her art accounts. Shuudou wants attention for her music and being an Idol, she does NOT want the attention she gets while being a Sister/Nun. When her fans start to get bored/reject her Idol ( ena's case Art ) she lashes out and gets desperate to get them back. Ive seen some fics where Ena would sometimes debate whether or not she'd want to connect her art acc to n25s videos in the credits and I like pointing out that distinction between the two a lot so as a fun smaller detail Id like to cite that as partially why she lashes out. In this au she'd still be an idol/nun but instead of being Just an idol she'd be like an Artist Idol? kinda. its one of those things that make sense in my head but isnt translating. It would also make the connection between her and akito work a bit easier. I was also considering putting Airi here because of design and also generally being in the idol industry but I have a different spot for her... kinda. ill elaborate later. I think also she'd ( ena ) directly blame Rui for making her Remember and fucking up her wish, so shed become faker-sister ( god the cornyness all the names are corny but the faker ones especially get me i love it ) out of spite. Moving on slightly...

Remember earlier when I said id post the sp a bit later? This is why... Doushin and Honami. Honamis kinda always been Doushin to me and I never really considered anyone else for this role. Honestly, yes, I could have also chosen Saki for Doushin but the overwhelming responsibility and general kindness of Doushin kinda knocks anyone else being her out of the possibilities for me. Once again early game characterization but also a bit of middle school. Honamis kindness is still being taken advantage of here but shes not really being bullied for it? shes not dealing with the "i cant trust you friend to all is a friend to none" in the same way. Moreso shes being used similarly to how the Adult World is using Doushin and the expectations she needs to live up to as general societal.. expectations woof using the same word twice in one go not a fan of that. yada yada What kinda cemented Honami being doushin ( or really doushin being directed to LN in general ) was the wishing on the 'star' and just being kids. why i mentioned the sp thing is cause ive been doing a crappy lil like 30 second snippet with the actual song cause its fun and to show off the overall dynamics of how the au works a little better(?) Like the part where she makes the wish and becomes a kid again. if i did the entire song though the kid that dies wouldnt be anyone from LN though. Also instead of dying permanently the world resets over and over so its like being trapped in a wish loop like Shuudou ( but for everyone ) GLITCHING WAHOO. and once again justifying why Faker train and sister have the objects from the other girls wishes. the concert would be attended by the people who made wishes and want to return to their wishes cause they'd want another shot at making their wishes Actually Work. I know im jumping around a bit sorry lol.

Denpa shoujou. Haru. Nene! Admittedly this part gets tricky cause I dont know who id make Natsu... but Nene works for Haru imo cause she rejects reality in favor of hiding in imagination ( kinda like hiding behind nenerobo in mainsto ) and the general... gaming aesthetic.. and is comfortable enough to match Rui / Dr. Realists energy. Also Rui having faith in Nene specifically and not really pushing her too much aka working with her rather than pushing her vs Haru being the only girl Dr Realist really.. mourns? or like regrets? his feelings towards her are definitely more compassionate than compared to Shuudou.. or Natsu. Esp Natsu. This is kinda the most. straightforward replacement i've got but thats cause its got the second most holes in it that i simply havent worked out yet...

I'm gonna be real. Bouken im torn on... im split between making her Airi or just.. not having her at all. I dont want to make her Saki since her acceptance of reality is her dying, and as much as Saki hated being in the hospital and the different roles Bouken played is similar to how Tsukasa would put on different shows for Saki... this specifically just. irks me. Saki has her lasting issues from being in the hospital, but death was never in the cards for her. Shes hopeful and she had her moments of despair and frustration but Boukens death is different from the other girls cause she dies In Reality. She doesn't die in the wish world. The cycle wouldn't work in the same way as the others, and i cannot in good conscious do that to Saki. The reason why id make her Airi is cause of her background as a variety idol, and her 'reality' being her quitting being an idol. Id have her reject Ruis offer to free Kanade and Rui would just... idk move on to Touya? Its weird. I dont wanna make Boukens illness and death metaphorical but i also don't wanna just make the chronically ill characters be each other for the sake of it all. Adding onto that I dont like how Bouken was treated in canon. Like she was meant to show that Tensei wasn't the only one who rejected Stella's gift and face reality but just to have her die off... theres something about it that frustrates me and i cannot find the words for it right now. Maybe that its overall just brushed off? At least with Natsu you feel the weight of her death haunt the series a lil, and with "capsule for when you wanna die" there is the implication of the Fakers involvement, with bouken shes kinda.. one off. But also her world still exists cause her dice show up in Monochrome Voice? idk. if i think too much about it im gonna confuse myself more.

ANYWAYS!! going back to stella possibly being an inspo for kanade... I do genuinely hope so. Early prsk was a lot more involved with vocaloid scene than it feels now, so i wouldnt be surprised if there were other characters based off of voca series characters.. and with Cosmo being a staple in the game even from the start.. this is the closest we can get to this series being in game outside of Yaminabe ( unless clpl lock in and give us anti the holic though the voice songs or chicken could work too... the other songs are way too long and idk if i could handle euphoria holic being cut to fit game size.. plus which version would they choose...)
