I need to know how Moran and Moriarty first meeting went and how they bonded. I just need to know.
Watched the third Enola movie since my sister likes those. Wow, it is pretty easy to beat Moriarty when she literally tells them everything. It was a decent movie, but like Moriarty is not some genius in this movie. Then, of course, Moriarty dies by getting hit by a rock in the back of the head. Some parts of the movie with the quick and clean assassinations. It could've been a good moment to include Moran. But nope. Then again, I never read the Enola books and Moran is often forgotten. It was a decent movie, but it was certainly not very memorable Moriarty, Watson or Holmes to me.
my piece for @tgaa-precanon! 🫖
(leftovers are available until december 16th)
I have certainly seen a fair share of Moriarty adaptation, but I forgot about the Undead Murder girl Farce Moriarty. The world takes place in the Victorian era with well paranormal elements. The main character both lost something the immortal Aya lost her body to a mysterious man she only remembered the cane from which had a letter M on it. The other main character, whose name I keep forgetting, was an experiment that escaped. He was half oni and half human. This man also only remembered a cane with the letter M. Starting off watching this show, it is so obvious this man is Moriarty, but this is because I read in the description that it has Sherlock Holmes in it. The two main characters meet each other and help each other out in exchange for finding this man who took things from them. The group consists of three people. Aya had a maid who carried her head around in a bird cage and was also a skilled fighter. The three of them are special detectives who solve extremely bizarre cases or unsolvable ones by the police. The first case is them catching a murderer at the vampire house. It isn't really important to the main plot. Only the part where the mysterious man tried asking the vampire lord if he could have a sample of his blood, but the vampire refuses and the man just left. Cut a little forward where, yes, Arsene Lupin invites the group and Sherlock Holmes to prevent him from stealing a special diamond. The diamond is very valuable and the key to finding the werewolves in Germany. Arsené Lupin kidnaps the phantom of the opera to help him steal this diamond. Anyway, they all go to good old London. Aya and Sherlock both get arrested, and that is their first meeting. Watson and Mycroft are also there, though Mycroft appearance is very brief. Watson is more consistent with Sherlock. Aya is good at deduction, but Sherlock is slightly better. To the night of the robbery of the diamond and everyone wants it. It is a lot outsmarting each other until Arsene thinks he won. Then the Moriarty gang shows up consistenting of a vampire, magician, Frankenstein and Jack the Ripper. They want the diamond to find the werewolves. Moriarty has been hired by Jack the Ripper to make him the ultimate creature. Hence, why Moriarty experimented with Oni blood, stole an immortal body, wanted vampire blood , etc. They kill all the police and eventually, Moriarty is face to face with Aya & Holmes. The final problem has already happened and both of them had survived. The whole conversation is the three of them respecting each other and challenging each other. Holmes to swear to stop Moriarty again and Moriarty happily invites him to. Holmes also has paranormal ability that isn't mentioned again? The Moriarty gang doesn't get the diamond and leave. The good team got diamond and Aya with her assistants went to find the werewolves with the diamond. We get a small scene of the whole Moriarty team sitting around the table like a family and Moriarty not being disappointed that they didn't get the diamond. Since Aya and her assistants are going to find the werewolves, the Moriarty gang will just simply follow them. They arrive in Germany and find the werewolves, also a case involving twins. Moriarty gets werewolf and well, the first season ends on a cliffhanger
It was certainly a show I watched and I did like it. I don't know what to think about the Moriarty, though. I do like Holmes.

Restarting my blog was weird at first but since my old main blog used to be rp blog, I don't regret it. I used to get some really weird requests constantly despite having rules. It annoyed me so much over the 4 years. Well, unfortunately, my side blog was gone too, but I like it this way.
It is still crazy how Watson in SH&co went from: "I don't want to harm anyone no matter how bad they are." to shooting Moran and just being fine with killing supposed evil bad guys. Why even establish this character trait in the first place only to throw it out the window? This writing choice still confuses me.
Ship Sunday: Moriarty/Moran
Today's Ship Sunday is Moriarty/Moran from Sherlock Holmes fandom.
James Moriarty is Holmes' nemesis, and Sebastian Moran is his loyal friend and minion. There is very little canon information about their relationship, except that they are "bosom friends", and that Moran tries to avenge Moriarty's death. Some adaptations give us a little more to work with, but it's mostly the fans who have expanded and explored their relationship. Often referred to as the dark mirrors of Holmes/Watson, some fanworks will be dark in nature, with the pair committing unspeakable crimes together, where other fanworks will focus on Moran's devotion and loyalty to Moriarty, and their friendship turning romantic.
