I’m not sure actually, because my dads haven’t said anything about it, really. But I got the stuffed animals from my brother. 

Aww, that's really sweet! Have you gone to pet stores to look at kittens in case?

So I may not have gotten an actual kitten for my birthday, but I got three stuffed kittens and I think that’s a step in the right direction.

Are you not allowed to have a real kitten?

I’m sure it looks good. Okay, fine I see your point, but really doing nothing could be fun. Watching movies, hand out candy. But, if you have any ideas then I’m all ears.
