Like, we can talk about how 'consumer choice' is never going to save the planet and stuff, but more importantly: You are not a sin. Your basic needs deserve to be met. You deserve to be warm and filled with food that satisfies you and you deserve to see your friends.
We are not fighting to save 'the planet', that's a piece of rock. We want to save ecosystems and plants and animals, including people. You are part of that. Don't leave yourself out of the list of creatures that deserve to thrive.

I promise you, doing badly on something academically, whether we are talking about an essay, a test, handing in a bad draft of something or something else, has no impact on your worth as a person. You do not become less than over something you produce. You have the same worth as before, and you are enough. You are not the things you produce. And yes it sucks when things go badly, but sometimes they do, and then we need to figure out what we can learn from that. You do not lose any of your worth.
