emanuel has been in fights hundreds of times before, coming out of them in conditions worse than what he’s in now. he actually finished his fight two hours prior, but it took the medic a lot longer than expected to set his nose back in place, details emanuel will certainly leave out when explaining the night to rhys. “i did.” he states, wiping his nose with the back of his hand as he reaches into his pocket, a stack of twenty one-hundred dollar bills being thrown on the floor in front of rhys. “that’s the proof.” two thousand dollars cash was a little less than emanuel is used to receiving for a match, but he certainly wasn’t one to complain.

after his eyes finally adjusted to the light, the look of disapproval was prominent on madison’s face. emanuel didn’t care -- all he wanted was a nice hot shower and to sleep for the next two weeks as of now. “don’t act so cold. at least i’m not dead.” the brunette joked, his filter not exactly at it’s peak as he allowed himself to say such a harsh thing. 

“  ‘cause i like your hair.  ” mala begins, ready to explain the list of things she finds attractive perfect about luna. “  and your eyes. and your smile, skin, and literally every physical feature about you. plus your laugh, stupid jokes, your talent... the list goes on and on. you’re nothing like me, and although i used to laugh at the phrase opposites attract, i finally believe in it now.  ”

“  i’m not saying anything, but if you ever need anything, i know where to find it at a good price.  ” ross states, teasing her further. “sticky situations ?? well thank god we found each other, because i’m great at getting myself out of them. as for your knight in shining armor, i’ll be whatever you want me to be, babe.  ” he was hardcore flirting now, but that’s just what ross does best; flirt with nice girls who have pretty eyes he’s just met.

he could hear his uber pulling out of the driveway as he looked at safiya, her worried countenance staring at his own seemingly calm one. emanuel’s car was still at the arena, but he didn’t care to tell the blonde about it now. “oh come on. you’ve seen me in way conditions worse than this.” emanuel laughs then coughs, the blood from his nose having made it’s way down to his throat. he wipes his mouth with the back of his hand, a trail of blood left on the olive skin there as well. “i think i need to sit down.”

“none, actually.” emanuel mutters, removing the check from his pocket and handing it to the girl before him. five thousand dollars he had earned them tonight. enough to cover the next two month’s rent and even buy raven a fancy new pair of heels. “tonight was one of my better matches. too bad you weren’t there to see it.”

“   now that’s classified information. you causing me trouble ?? ” he laughs at the smaller girl before him, suddenly becoming a bit more curious as to who she is and why she’s here. “  unless you’re a gang member like i said before, i’m sure i can handle whatever treachery you do brings.  ”

he’s covered in his own blood upon entering the apartment, keys clattering against the linoleum floor as he drops them. emanuel drags himself to the kitchen, knowing the other would be beyond pissed at him if they knew he came home this late in such a state. turning the light on, he muttered a curse under his breath as the pair of eyes he was praying wouldn’t see him were staring right back into his own cobalt ones. “don’t worry babe, i won.”

“  that’s fucking FANTASTIC. she tells me her mother is sick and has to visit her, just to cheat on me ?? who was she kissing ?? i’m going to fucking beat the shit out of him.  ”
