[Starter/Open] Just another night.
{...} "I’d also very much like to continue our little chat, however would you prefer to continue upstairs where we can sit? Or we can stay here if you are more comfortable here."
Her eyes widened slightly. While she was used to conversing with adults the majority of the time, Silas was something of a new challenge. His behavior was hard to read. Not that he posed a threat, but she wasn’t really sure why he’d choose to spend his opening hours talking to such an awkward college girl such as herself. Taking a quick sip of her water, she continued chatting.
“You figured me out. I … Well, I make myself go out at least once a month in a social setting. I’m usually not the party type; I spend all my time studying and forget there’s more to college than passing tests, you know? And maybe I’ll actually make a friend or two in the process.”
Posy flashed a polite smile. Her curiosity was piqued enough to want to keep talking even if she was unaccustomed to his certain brand of flattery. She took a quick look down at the floor again, before turning her gaze back to Silas.
“I’d like that. A seat, I mean. Staying here on the staircase is kind of a fire code violation, right,” she asked with a laugh. “But I would like to stay within view of the action below. I wouldn’t want to miss anything, especially if this DJ of yours hasn’t even started his best performance yet.”
It didn’t hurt to set cautious rules. If anything, it gave her a quick way out if something went awry. Nothing was setting off alarms in her head yet, but being a policeman’s daughter meant she always had two or three safety nets built … just in case.
Posy's request was not impossible to fulfill but it was slightly difficult to do given Delirium's layout, regardless Silas nodded and began to think of a way to proceed. "Hmm since I'm sure you would be uncomfortable sitting right on the dance floor that only leaves a few options." He paused for a second before glancing up towards the second floor before looking back to Posy, "Well if you would please follow me I think I might have an idea which you could always veto if you don't like it."
Silas turned and started back up the stairs towards the second floor, once there he stopped at the first of the three separate seating areas for the VIP clientele on this side of the club. He put his arm out motioning for her to seat, "If need be I can move the bench closer to the railing so you can get a better view."
If Posy set at the closest end to the stairs where it turned away from the wall and towards the railing she would have a view of the crowd below but it would be slightly obstructed unless it was pushed out.
