what initially got you interested in the 007/00q fandom? was there a specific piece of media that got you interested?
haha! this is a very good question!! so i got into 007 in October of last year, right around when No Time to Die came out. before that I was super into Star Wars, so there was no smooth transition between the two fandoms.
I think how it went was I saw an advertisement (I forgot it it was online or a movie poster) for NTTD and was curious. so I do what I always do when I’m curious, go on Ao3 and read a ton of the top kudos fics. I already had a little knowledge on the franchise, but as I read through them I did more research (to understand the characters and workings of craig’s 007 universe), and eventually watched some of the movies. But yeah, how I got into 007 (and by proxy 00q) was through fanfiction.
Bonus fact: when I found out that Bond/Q was the top written ship for 007 on Ao3, I was mega confused cuz I thought Q was M (Olivia Mansfield) and was really confused as why they were shipping Bond with M.

Hello friends, I'm here for 00BBQ opinions. Help my overwhelmed little brain jog on a little here.
So, I'm neck deep in the second of my Knives Out x Bond crossover fics and I've hit a fork in the road.
In short, how far do you think I should go with the flirty little dynamic between Q and Benoit? I'm considering the Sexual Tension of it all and I may need to be talked down off a ledge of Q maybe potentially sleeping with the world's greatest detective.
Or do I just keep things platonic and let Bond's imagination run away from itself over nothing?
*as always, all opinions 1000% respected, but the choice of where the fic goes is still going to be down to the whims of my brain when I get back to writing it, sorry.
I wanna hear your guys’ input as well! I wouldn’t be opposed to some BBQ (lmao) going on. I’m a massive sucker potential jealousy, and even more of a sucker for angst (I like sobbing on the floor at 3 am), so if having some BBQ ends with some 00BBQ angst… 👀👍👌.
The question for how spicy it should be is up for anything (though I won’t draw spicy stuff), if it adds to the story than I’m here for it ^_^!
Either way I will always be down for drawing any 007 x knives out art and am waiting excitedly!

- the contrast between benoit’s optimism and bond’s negativity is c h e f s k i s s
- i like the idea of southern accent benoit interacting with posh accent q and both being rather fascinated with each other : )

He’s a hack, Q, and a terrible detective.” “He’s kind,” snapped Q, regretting it almost as soon as he caught Bond’s reaction to it. The words lingered in the air, thickening the tension in the room. “Oh, well, it’s always useful to know where one’s been found lacking.” ----- When Bond retires, he turns to the world of private investigations. For things relating to hacking, cyber-crime and of a more personal nature, he often turns to Q. But, as it turns out, James Bond isn't the only private detective Q knows.
