I should’ve known with the Michael movie there would be an 80’s cultural revival

A couple weeks ago I was writing about how I have to have a playful disposition with God to bring levity to the density and pressures that already be and then funnily enough I find this book yesterday <3
More on Aquarius…
The Internet part 375
Yesterday someone suggested to me that you have responsibility not to like the art of someone who was a bad person even it it was hundreds of years ago and furthermore that you should be able to tell by looking at their art if they were a bad person.
I told them that's ridiculous and also what do you do with all of this information that's so Unknown. What about Leonardo da Vinci was his boyfriend 12 years old? How do you settle on that and what do you do about it?
They said you can't promote their artwork by posting it because some of their story might get left behind and somebody might think they were just a regular person. And of course I said who cares if it's long ago and you're not giving them money and you're not promoting ideals that are against your own in the artwork itself.
They said I was slandering Leonardo and that that's why I love Nazis. What are we doing here folks?
The end
Epilogue
If we scrubbed the annals of history for every speck of dirt, nothing would remain. I really like the phrase, “Take what you can use and leave the rest to rot.”
People are trained by an algorithm that spoons out what they mostly agree with, then something gritty they do not agree with in order to spur engagement. Ideally, this would translate to lively discussion and refinement. Practically, it translates to lack of resilience and the inability to sit with discomfort before understanding why and how it is good or bad. Users fracture into outraged tribes to extract the grain of sand from their otherwise blandly hypnotic feed. We’re being trained to scrub, and ultimately destroy ourselves.
