hi guys, i really, truly hate to be making this post, but i am in desperate need of money. my boyfriend and i have both been impacted by the covid 19 virus, as well as our two roommates, and our rent is sky high right now, we just received an email about a possible vacating if we cannot pay our rent, i’m trying to sell things of mine to pay towards it, but i don’t have many things that are worth a lot of money. i am willing to do gif and static icon commissions for any donations people might be generous enough to send, we are struggling so much right now, and i know a lot of other people are, but we are both on the lease at our apartment and we cannot afford an eviction on our records. i have a cash app right here. i also have a paypal right here. if you are interested in commissions, please send me an im! we can discuss things there. if you aren’t able to donate, please reblog this to spread the word ! we are super behind on bills because we just can’t afford to pay rent right now. below i’ve attached a picture of our rent balance, and absolutely any amount of money would be so helpful right now.

—ATTENTION ALL GIF MAKERS

I haven’t come across a post about it yet, but with this new tumblr update, you can no longer upload your gifs in a new text post to copy the html! When you go to paste the html onto your gif page, it will only show the gifs temporarily, and when you check back later, they seem to vanish!

However, I was able to find a way around it by simply publishing that text post with your new gifs. You can make the post private, then go into edit, switch over to markdown then html, and copy from there! After you’re finished, you can delete the (private) text post and your gifs will remain on the gif page you posted them to!

Using THIS site to upload your gifs (in case you want to add them to a gif page) also works brilliantly, I use it for all my gif packs, because I can upload the gifs and it’ll give me back the HTML for all the gifs at once, so I don’t have to manually copy paste URLs into my pages.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who found the new dashboard layout really disturbing - especially the confusing font choices. Therefore I’ve created a Stylus style to overwrite the look. You can download it here. (make sure you have installed the extension for your browser first!)
