watching the first ep of superman the animated series with the tadpole and going “ah the fate of krypton seems less implausible now” which is frankly pretty depressing

i am not even remotely a gardener by nature

decluttering my kitchen continues one soul sucking meeting at a time.

I spent a large part of my time at Ikea today mentally workshopping a vid of the black widows, most of the thunderbolts (not red guardian), gamora, etc to muse's "psycho" and now I just want to think about them all in the wake of trying to be people after being weapons and it is great. love that journey for them.

today I wrestled the flat packs for a kitchen island from ikea into my car all by myself.

this is on me but i should have checked the page count on that book (Automatic Noodle by Annalee Newitz, not first person, ended super abruptly, i would read at least five books in a series about these precious robots).

Hell’s Heart by Alexis Hall is gender swapped space Moby Dick and it was very good in some parts and, I think, trying too hard in others. I also think it was trying to hit the TLT crowd via lesbians and memes but that part didn’t super work for me. I did very much like the religious aspects and the bodily alienation mixed with corporate dystopia.

I am currently enjoying the lesbian space AU of moby dick. first person, but what can you do. at the very least, this new authors quest is taking me outside my usual reading haunts.
