I find it very annoying when people ignore Frank’s complexity as a character just because he is an abusive piece of shit to the other characters. I even saw a person one time on twitter say he’s the only character without childhood trauma, ignoring that he was on a psychiatric hospital in the 50s which basically was hell on earth, specially for kids. I think this show gets more interesting and funnier when you realize all 5 characters are incredibly complex people who have trauma that informs their actions and relationships to each other but they ignore everything so they all fucking suck and end up being terrible people

what if there was a show where every character was gay and you had the token straight guy character who acted really stereotypical and was into cars beers and women and everyone was like OH STRAIGHT LARRY YOU’RE SO FUNNY AND STRAIGHT
