Have you ever had a conversation with your friends or family and both of you agree on the point, ‘Ah, the good olden days. There’s so much talent at that time compared to the present.’
I am sure you had people talk about the great artists or sportspersons or even architectures of the past era and compare them to the present generation and the common agreeing point would be like ‘yes, the past generation is better than ours.’
People inherently believe that compared to the present age, the past ages have better talent.
What stands against the test of times is something which is always great. Be it architecture or music/art or any other thing.
Sure, the previous generations’ talents were awesome and all but I like to point out that mediocre was present in the past too.
But the present, in my opinion, is better than the past.
And I argue that these are great times we live in. Ideas whether good or bad are being encouraged.
With globalization and access to vast amount of information within seconds, your group of supporters are multiple times larger than in the past.
The thin line that exists between creativity and insanity, the thin gap between a great idea and a bizarre plan was like a chasm that used to scare innovators and creators away from trying out their patchy ideas scribbled on the back pages of their books.
But now, people and influential figures of the world are encouraging everyone to take steps towards entrepreneurial adventures.
If your ideas succeeds, then great, congratulations. If your idea fails, then it’s alright, you can try again. The support you get after your failure is tremendous compared to the past.
So, don’t hesitate to act. Not the past, but the present is the best. And the future will be even better.
