Sometimes I forget to post projects here, the one place I could write a whole wall of text in!
I saw this body on ig and it had a backstory, but as soon as I saw it, I had to message the owner to buy it! I was originally going to do another kintsugi/visibly broken doll, but Iโve been challenging myself to do different things this year, like I used to when I was fresher to the hobby!
Step 1 was gluing everything together with loctite and reinforcing the insides with apoxie sculpt. Step 2 was finding a head and purpose for this. Luckily I have plenty of floating heads!
This one had more intact pieces, and it could almost pass as normal once everything was put together. All fingers and toes fit, all joints and the only thing it was missing was one half of an elbow peanut. The one piece I couldnโt reinforce lest it look weird were the fingers. I will look for some gold rings to cover them!
