                  Straightening his tunic at the loopholes of his belt, he prepared a joyful smile and stepped forward, hand extended with its palm outward.

          beatrice watched as    the boy approached her,   folding her              arms   across   her chest and quirking an eyebrow  in   amusement.              most people around the area knew her not to be very -- how would              she put this -- approachable.
