PS joy and happiness are different. I have depression too. When something “sparks joy” in me, that’s not happiness. It just means I look at it and think “yes, this is a part of my life I want to keep nearby” so there’s no need to mock her “sparking joy” comments either

It’s a deception under the promise of “traditional chinese dance and folklore” – but it’s not just that. The shows often feature segments that include the Chinese Communist Party – clad in ridiculous black leather jackets – menacing onto the stage and kidnapping the ‘innocent and faithful’ Falun Dafa for organ harvesting. The show I attended had a male opera singer come onto the stage and sing about evolution being an evil idea and it was created to lead us all astray.

You know why Parkland became famous?

Because it was the first time people truly started talking about the victims and the survivors. 

Not the shooter. Not his motives. Not his PSYCHOLOGICAL DEPTH~! (whatever the fuck that means, outside of ID documentaries and bad crime podcasts, it is not worth exploring.)

He was an after thought. That is good. 

Let the criminologists deal with studying the shooters brain. Let the cops deal with finding out the motive.

Put the victims and survivors of these awful events FIRST. Know their names, their stories, their goals, and hobbies. Bring some SENSITIVITY and EMPATHY back into these situations.
