"right. i can turn it off, but i have to think about that, and it's probably not safe to do that often around buttercup." not that he thinks she would ever intentionally harm any of them, but he doesn't want her to have to worry about the possibility of doing it by accident. "i can't turn it off if i'm aseep, either, since like... can't exactly think about it if i'm not thinking about anything."
ah, yes, the buttercup of it all too. she'd almost forgotten with all the other parts of this. who knew it would be so complicated for four people to figure out how to live together? she bites at her lip as she thinks because this seems to get more complicated by the second. "well, that'll probably come in handy since i don't think fleur's going to give buttercup her own room. or bed. or really anything except the roof over her head." and even that's only because it'll also be the roof over fluer's head, which is unfortunate for them but at least they get to be together. "...how much of this applies to objects? because i think, maybe, most of the things i do day to day i could probably spell things to do...but that only works if your power only works on living things or it could work if it only works things you're touching, i suppose."
