Morton was about to comment that he could have sworn he'd seen a crossword book in Lyle's apartment but decided against doing so. It hadn't been used until Sam grabbed it, the pages pristine and clean as though their former owner had barely cracked the cover before setting it aside. A shame, really. Lyle seemed like he had the talent for crosswords if he'd only just give it a try. "I do not like manga. It has... ehhh, far too many images and not enough words. The drawings. They are a distraction." These words were delivered with a shrug, Morton's shabby robes rising and falling as he described one novel in particular he'd stumbled across during his scavenger hunts. He understood the appeal of visual novels, really he did. It was just that Morton was the only one that focused on literature that trying to follow a graphic storyline took away from the experience. Nonetheless, he was determined to try and find some common ground with Lyle. The Shutterbug was an engaging individual who made time for others and listened to their interests, so it was only fair to do the same for him. "This manga I procured.... ehhh. It was about an alien who came to Earth and lived amongst humans, fighting other aliens and monsters who threatened his loved ones and home. It seemed to be a sequel so I only understood some of the story. Perhaps you would enjoy it better if I... ehhh, brought it to you?" Maybe... they could read it together?
