Flambae and Prism are taking their lunch break and Flambae stupidly gets himself stuck all because his intrusive thoughts won, and he can't just burn the wall to pry himself loose for some reason (something something no property damage while they're off the clock because SDN hates doing all the required legal shit, idk). So he's just standing there with his finger in the hole like an idiot, fuming and hissing at Prism not to send the picture she just took to the Z-Team group chat (of course she already did). People are snickering at him, some are even filming. It's all very humiliating.

Then suddenly something lands heavily near the entrance. The Mecha Man suit.

The front latch opens and Robert gets out in his full Mecha Man getup. He walks in, all confident and heroic and shit, and asks about the person in distress that needs his help. Flambae immediately wants the ground to swallow him.

Robert walks up to him, examines his finger very thoroughly and helps get it out, tossing off a remark about how he made it just in time; any longer and Flambae could've had to have the finger amputated. Flambae gapes at him. There's no way fucker just went there.

Robert, with his face still perfectly serious and official, advises him to stay safe, walks out of the cafe, gets back into the mech suit, dramatically salutes the public and flies off.

Safely inside his suit, Robert puts it on autopilot and proceeds to laugh hysterically until he cries. He saw Prism's picture in the group chat and just had to seize the opportunity. Gave the new thrusters Royd had just installed into the suit a proper stress test to make it there in time, too.

Either one, he's a really fussy baby and IS always upset

Or two, he's one of those babies that always LOOK upset but they're having the time of their lives. Issa is warm and happy and he has his Baba but he just looks like that one kitten with its face drenched in milk. Always.

I'm wondering how you see it and I'd love to hear :]

it's a bit of both, but mostly the former. he's a sensitive little soul and vv clingy, and particularly 'spoiled' in the way that chad and robert 'indulge' all the times he wants to be held.

naptime? he's cradled in the crook of an arm. chad or rob busy doing paperwork or chores? he's sitting in his sling watching it all happen. the whole 'let him cry it out' strategy doesn't exist with issa because robert or chad (especially chad) will go and pick him up even in the ungodly hours of the morning
