Rowena raises her eyebrow, bemused. What in the world is an It Girl? Is it some kind of IT Specialist, or something? She’s not sure, but she certainly seems nice. She almost asks her exactly what an It Girl is, but she manages to stop herself short - she’s supposed to be all-knowing of all the arcane knowledge in the world. 

The eyebrow raise is also directed at her laugh, but less so. She’s long learned not to flinch in the face of laughter. As much as Rowena loathes skeptics, she’s certain that she should be able to convert at least a few people here to her cause. Otherwise, for what reason is she here? 

Well, there’s the cause of sparring with the Demon General, but that’s business for another time.

“Of course, naturally. I have been placed on this earth to witness paranormal affairs and document them for purposes yet unknown. Known to me, mind you, but…”

Rowena lets out a characteristic cackle, putting a gloved hand daintily to her mouth as if to prevent any further sounds from escaping.

“It is for this reason that I have been invited here, though this frivolous modeling business is for other purposes.”

“Eh? Is this building haunted, then?”

The dubious amusement in her tone still lingered, though Mickey didn’t seem to be mocking. As silly as it was to the idol, she also assumed that Hope’s Peak would know what they were doing if Rowena was standing in the same room with Mickey. Then again, does Hope’s Peak know what the hell they’re doing when they’re all trapped in a studio with its owner dead?... Nono, Mickey, don’t have a crisis over that right now. Just--

Sushi? Man, Rowena hasn’t had sushi in ages - it doesn’t really fit her look, anyway. Still, she could really go for some of it… maybe later, then. Again, she wonders if she’s having the right reaction to all of this. Her nausea is more centralized in her mind than it is in her stomach. Thinking about it, she gulps - hopefully subtly enough for the other girl not to notice.

She nods at the other girl as she prattles on about whatever. Nothing that particularly entices her, but she hasn’t encountered very much that has. This place and the people in it have been all too modern… no interesting ghosts haunt these halls, and her camera went largely unused until today.

Perhaps Huang could qualify as an “interesting ghost”, but she didn’t really want to think about that.

“It would appear that my presence is still unknown to some… is my aura waned in power since I have arrived? Truly, this is a cursed place.”

Rowena lowers her camera and takes on a more contemplative expression as she tries to figure out how to go about introducing herself. As much as she’s loathe to admit it, she’s kind of running out of appropriately mystical ways. 

Fumbling, she does her best to cobble together a good introduction.

“I am a purveyor of sorts… of the supernatural and perverse, one might say. My name is Rowena Christine St. Bathory, and it would seem that I have been bequeathed the title of Super High School Level Spirit Photographer.”

She smirks, and almost raises the camera before realizing that she just put it down, and that bringing it back up again would be kind of silly. Instead, she extends a gloved hand out towards the other girl.

“And who might you be, then?”

There was a spaced out expression across Mickey’s face as Rowena spoke on. One may have even seen a loading bar over her head if they squinted hard enough. What... in the world did she just say? Mickey honestly had no idea. Something, something power? Supernatural? She understood the introduction... maybe.

But from what Mickey could translate: a ghost photographer? What? Before she could stop herself, she snuffled out a little giggle. She hadn’t meant to laugh at the girl, but her astonishment at the situation forced one out.

“I’m Oh Kyung Min, or Mickey,” she offered in return. “I have been, um, ‘bequeathed’ the title of Super High School Level It Girl?”

The amusement in her introduction certainly didn’t help her case either.

This was the second time that Rowena had entered the cafeteria to find someone already there. Unlike the last time, though, the other person was nowhere near as calm when presented with her sudden entrance. This was more like what Rowena was used to, though, so she was better prepared for it. 

Who was this girl, again? Oh, yes. The one who had screamed at Huang’s death and nearly shattered her eardrums. And her talent was… Rowena couldn’t remember. She was still holding her camera from her earlier investigation, and she lowered it in response to her freakout - maybe she thought she was some kind of paparazza or something. 

That would be a much less boring reality than what Rowena had been hoping for, but it would make sense.  

“It would appear that you underestimate me - I am phased by very little. Certainly not by a mere scream, that is for sure…”

Well, that’s a blatant lie. There were definitely things that startled her, but none of them were here. 

She’d come to the cafeteria because she was hungry, but it would seem that she was about to be dragged into yet another confrontation. Thinking back on it, it’s strange that she’s feeling hungry right now - one would think that seeing a person dismembered right in front of her would ruin her appetite for weeks. And yet she was craving creme puffs… it’s funny how things like that work.

She’s not in any mood to talk about Huang’s death, though, so she decides to table the subject for now. Looking for literally anything else to bring up, her eyes land on a tray of desserts. Perfect.

Rowena coughs unsubtly.

“I must say, whoever the chef here is… they have quite the remarkable talent. I normally don’t partake in such human rituals as eating, but the quality is worth indulging in.”

This Is How Normal People Have Conversations, Right.

“Ahaha... Um, is that so? Thank goodness then! I’ve been told I can be too loud when startled, so I always worry...” 

It slowly sunk into her that the coffee was quite literally sinking into the fabric of her sleeve now that she had calmed down. She tried to not make any more panicked movements as she set her cup down and reached for the closest napkins she could find so she could begin blotting the beverage’s dark contents before it stained. It was probably futile for the cuff of her shirt under the jacket, but at least it was just a generic button up. 

“Oh, do you mean the food...?” 

Admittedly, Mickey struggled a bit with the choice of words this bemusing stranger utilized. Human... rituals...? Uhhh, was that some slang or saying that Mickey just never picked up on?

“It is good, yeah! I’ve only had the sushi and sandwiches, but they were yummy.”

Not that she was in any mood for food right now. She still felt nauseous if she let her mind wander too far.
