I’ll be playing Kyung Min “Mickey” Oh, the SHSL It Girl. She’s a idol serving as the visual of kpop group Victory. Her popularity banks more on her looks and personality than her singing, and most of her personal income comes from photo shoots, modeling, guest appearances, endorsements, etc.
Why your OC might know her
If your OC spends a lot of time around the bigger cities, they’ve likely seen her on some form of advertisement even if they don’t remember. Her and the rest of Victory aren’t huge in the west but explosive across a lot of Asia. Mickey in particular has done a lot of endorsements and photoshoots for several cosmetic, food, and fashion brands as of late so she’s been on billboards and magazines across several countries.
Victory’s best seller song was a viral single called “Sudden Kiss / 깜쪽” that has tallied over three million sales at this point. Depending on your OC’s local radios/whether your OC keeps up with the pop charts, they may have heard it back when it was charting.
She does a lot of guest appearances on Japanese and Korean variety shows. If your OC watches them, they may recognize her there.
I have some other meta-sensitive but public Victory/Mickey info that fans would know. If your OC would be a fan/know about her and her group in some manner, HMU on asks or on Discord and I’ll fill you in. Only reason I’m not posting it here is cause I don’t want people to see it and think anyone would know this and use it during trials.

Mickey’s spent enough time in Japan due to her career’s success that she’s fairly fluent in Japanese. Her accent’s present but it’s gotten better over the years. The only real struggle is when she has to articulate complex sentences.
She once caused a soft drink flavor to sell out across several cities because a fansite of hers snapped a shot of her looking into the camera while drinking it.
Classmates might know that she’s pretty friendly and approachable. She’s very expressive, and she always talks with a well supported voice so it’s easy to understand her even with the accent.
It’s not mentioned often cause it betrays her “brand” but she loves eSports. Particularly League and recently Overwatch. She’s Very Passionate about it.
She has two younger twin brothers that she talks about adoringly from time to time on shows. They bond a lot over eSports.
I referenced Suzy from Miss A (rip) and Nana from After School (FUCKING RIP) as inspiration for her design.
