i can’t do it man leorio and kurapika are the beginning and the end… they’re directly contrasted .. healer and destroyer, water and fire, pisces and aries, boar and rat, moon and sun.. they compensate for each other’s weak points they’re strong where the other is not, their stats are directly oppositional.. their character arcs are so heavily intertwined, they fulfill each other’s goals and motivations, kurapika left home to find a doctor and he found leorio, leorio left home to save people to save a friend and he found kurapika, kurapika who represents a friend he CAN save. i CANNOT. it is POETIC. it is PURPOSEFUL. the POWER this has

but for real it’s crazy how they’re literally penned down to be the perfect example of yin and yang. for example we have these character stats where they are the complete opposites, especially the darkness part, where leorio’s shown to pretty much have none while kurapika, on the other hand, is shown to have it full on. that aside they are emitter and conjurer and i cannot stop thinking about this character/personality/nen analysis:

op perfectly highlights their differences and slaps it down how despite their obviously clashing differences, they manage to be perfect for one another. so a dc climax where leorio and kurapika finally team up again (reliving the hunter exam where they kept teaming up no matter what), where kurapika probably resists wanting leorio’s help but leorio in return forces them to let him help them (flashback again to the hunter exam snake-cave scene it was leorio who wanted to disperse the team bc he wanted to do everything by himself, but kurapika insisted that’s not going to happen and that they’re not going to leave leorio alone) and then they, with their opposing traits, manage to bring out the best in each other and create the perfect team. it’s going to be insanely breathtaking if that happens bc this pair! they’re just! so so So different yet they fit one another perfectly like puzzle pieces and it’s impossible to imagine pairing them off with someone else.
