The Gowanus Canal 🐟 Generally, I like more loose work, but I also enjoy throwing on layers of paint, so I tend to make things more “finished” than I originally planned. In an effort to find a happy middle, I bought a few broader-tipped markers to help get the initial layers down. I’m enjoying them so far. I think as I tinker with the process I’ll come out with some solid sketches, ones worth making into prints. Always an evolution! The Men’s Marathon. It was a hot and humid day to run 26.2 and I give a lot of credit to Galen Rupp for a strong effort and an eighth place finish.
