I have a small weird story kinda related to the search of the backyardigans pilot that I've never knew where to share so im dumping it here lol
Basically back in college a few years ago my professor brought Dan Yaccarino in as a guest lecturer for a critique of our thesis but to also talk about his career as an artist/character designer. It was a pretty interesting slideshow featuring his early/present works and he got around to showing his work on The Backyardigans. It was pretty brief and I dont remember at all what was shown on the slide but he mentioned working on the original pilot and how people have had emailed him years later if he had the pilot and he mentioned he didnt but thought it was crazy how people cared a lot to this day.
Nothing like crazy world shattering info but I thought it was interesting since I was familiar with how holy grail status the pilot was. (Also the crit was eh lol)
