Uhm, hello there? I believe we never talked before, my name is Maddie. Nice to see you!

So, Santa Claus is coming to town and I decided to give him a helping hand by visiting all of my followers! Children aren’t the only ones that deserve presents, y’know.

Unfortunately I had no enough money to buy presents for everyone, so those are homemade. Hope you like it anyways, Merry Christmas!~❤︎

The collections of presents left about had definitely surprised him to see, he was used to being a grumpy fun-sucker that didn't care much for the Holidays.  He rarely ever found himself smiling much less.  

"Happy Christmas! So I am going to introduce myself in case I haven’t. I’m Earl. Pleasure to meet you. I know I didn’t get to formally introduce myself or have a nice conversation with you but I hope this would be a good start. I actually have a gift and hoping you’ll like it." He smiles softly and hands him a box. "I hope you had a good one with your family or friends and whatnot. Take care and have a good day/night!"

      There were two things that Shixun would never truly understand, one being the sudden kindness revolved around festivals and the other involving some sort of mixture he felt inside of his heart melting away at the seems.

          The streets were deserted, the roads were void of vehicles and buildings were emptied of life, only the dull glimmer of the moon could be witnessed in the distance of the skies. The sea up above had been vacated of all the stars for miles and moon barely managed to shine.

      The only light of the city had been bared lampposts dim alongside the lonesome night. Nothing was in motion, not even the vast sky.

      The array of streetlights hanging overhead were beginning to cause problems, bright lights probing into the night were forcing down a thick spiral of pain lingering inside the contours of his brain, echoing deep into his ears as he barely managed to will away the pain lingering there.

"What am I doing?" Shixun hissed shoving his hand to his forehead, lolling his head back further as he pressed his hand down to his neck, ruffling the strands of hair as he went,  kneading at the tense muscles.

      He carried himself down the street with a thin black cartridge settled between his fingertips, his digits fumbling with the cigarette as he let the flame burn it out, watching the smoke waft up in front of his face. He had been too exhausted to finish the cancer burning down to the bud in his hands and instead opted to let it die slowly.

      The low grumble of cars hitting pavement was a sweet tune of trance in his head as he let the wet streets wind down under the rubber of the cars in the distance, the constant flow of life moving about regardless of who bothered to listen brought to him a sort of peace, something to calm his wayward mind.

      The minute hand on his watch clicked in bits of an alarm, marking the strike of midnight, he stared at the silver ROLEX with his heart sinking into his chest.

      That night marked the one year anniversary of death, the death of someone beloved and he couldn't bring himself to forget that night, he couldn't bring himself to erase what happened.

He stood on the corner of the sidewalk, his heels digging into the brush below him as the bud of the cartridge burned his hand, forcing the small piece to tumbled down into a small puddle, wet enough to put the dying buzz out in a burst of smoke.

                     He wanted to be put out of his misery.

No, no. [purses my lips] Not at all. I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.

      The other individual confronting him was not like anyone else, stopping to say a few words with a stranger, stopping at all in these busy streets seemed everything out of the ordinary.

He seemed a bit confused.

Shixun waited a few minutes before finally pointing at himself, barely registering that the individual had spoken to him.  He was exhausted, his day at work was treacherous and he was finished with the world at that moment.

The irritation crept across his face in seconds, upon feeling the touch of another on his jacket.  His facial features contorted visibly with discomfort before he spun around just as quickly, his expression dropping.

"Oh." Shixun grumbled, playfully albeit, before stomping out the bud of the cigarette that had been cradled between his fingers.  His joints curling at his sides.  "Sure- why not." He murmured softly, his head tipping back as he sucked in a deep breath.

          A structure stood tall in the midst of Seoul, glass windows adorning every panel, every corner with the mix of sunlight reflecting from the glass, leaving fractals across the street, among cars and people bustling by.

The lines were busy, the calls were coming in at a record pace, drove upon droves of companies trying to tie the knot and become a business partner or whatever else it was that they always wanted.

Shixun walked through the front doors with an air of apathy about him. He wore a dark grey suit, large black sunglasses that covered most of his face to keep his identity on the down-low and in seconds he felt his throat drop at the line of people bombarding his assistant, he had half the mind to turn around and leave in that very moment.  

She spotted him though, she gave him a look, one that said if you try to walk away, I'll find you and kill you, then your children and their children too.

The company was not his favourite place to be, it was not something he could ever find himself excited about, instead it was like a contract with the devil, the pain of having to be an adult mixed into one psychotic blood contract.

He felt his heart sink into his stomach as he approached the elevator, finding some sort of peace inside of his duties as the representative at his parents company.

          The bitter taste of alcohol lingered on his lips, dripping down the strands of his hair as it soaked into his shirt, his tongue viciously working to scrub away the circulating feel of disgust that wouldn't seem to go away.

He needed a break.

He felt the remnants of the sexual assault tainting his mouth before finally shoving himself out of the club, letting the doors clatter behind him.  He brushed his hands down his slacks, rubbing at his thighs in a desperate attempt to wash away the filth.

Shixun thumbed through his pockets before pulling out a small packaging that read DJARUM BLACK across the front with a small red triangle taking place of the simple A.

His fingertips felt numb and he broke through the plastic liner that sealed the box, immediately tugging a thin gold and gray cartridge from the case.  He settled the cigarette between his lips, pocketing the packaging quickly.

Shixun rubbed his hands together, his teeth chattering in the cold as he moved to create friction between his palms.  He shoved his hands into his pockets once again before nearly throwing his lighter across the ground.

"Fuck me." He bit out in irritation, his lips parting as he let out a long sigh, his fingers grasping the stick between his lips as he bend down to reach for the lighter.

The metal clinked across the ground as Shixun fumbled for it, his fingers being pressed into the concrete by the padding of a shoe as he watched the device go tumbling into the street.

"God damn it." Shixun yelped, ripping his hand away from the ground, finally registering the pain in his hand as he immediately moved to blow warm air against his frozen fingertips.

As if defeated he let out another sigh before leaning his back against the club, his heading thumping against the concrete wall before he settled down on his behind, he stretched his legs out in front of him before staring up at the culprit.

          The building was filled with noise and low frivolous music in the background, lights dangling from overhead as they spoke softly under the dim lighting of the club.

Shixun sat with his arms crossed over the table, his fingers tangled together as he listed to the other speak, intent with the flow of their conversation.

The breeze had brushed across his face, sending his hair in fits for the seventh time that night, his lips curling tightly into themselves as he tucked his arms in to secure his body heat, the temperature drops had not been his favourite of the changing season.

It was beginning to drone on, the flocks and droves of people passing by, just as he had, trying to get to their destination, scurring like rabbits on water.

He heard another voice speak up, surprised by the suddenly closeness of the two before he took a step back, stopping completely.

"Hello." Shixun whispered softly, his arms folding over his chest with an elongated sigh spilling from his lips.  "Okay?" He mumbled, his brow raising curiously at the other.  "Nice to meet you?" Shixun had felt entirely alarmed, surprised by the sudden change in behaviour, surprised by the other stopping him for seemingly no reason at all.

"Hi." Shixun murmured disinterestedly, his hand flicking at his side in a half-assed attempt at a wave, clearly not trying to hide his irritation as the other spoke up.

He had his head spinning, his lips pressing together tightly as he turned his attention towards the individual calling at him.

          The looks littered on peoples faces were sour and filled with disgust.  The breezed picked up and skirted leaves and papers across the ground, blowing jackets and napkins across the street.

The sun didn't shine that day.

The buildings were closed and streets were silent, lights shut off with lamps broken down.

Thank god.

The sun didn't shine.

A slight shudder ran down his back, forcing him to adjust, the blaze slung over his shoulder now looking awfully warm.  He shrugged the jacket on without much more of a thought before brushing his palm across his arm to create friction, his lips pressing tightly together before he noticed another.

He stood for a minute, silence, annoyed and ready for a nice, long day inside of his bed.  He was ready for heat and warmth and everything nice.  He was ready to be out of the way of people.  He was ready.

His tongue clicked in the back of his mouth as he spotted the other, his eyes narrowed before he approached wordlessly.

A few minutes passed before Shixun drug himself closer to the man he spotted, he stared for a few moment before making out the facial features of the individual.

As he confirmed the identity his felt a welling anger inside of him. 

Shixun stormed over to him, immediately shoving the other up against the wall, one quick, forceful push before rolled his eyes, letting out a small grumble of irritation.
