maybe there could be some sort of cave that has crystals that produce a certain chemical that when coming into contact with the living causes a disease(not all of them; I thinking normies, subspecies of tyshuvukik and plant people could probably be amune to it. It really only affects mammals.) This diasease causes its victim to extensively crave red meat to an animalistic degree. I was thinking maybe a group could try to find shelter in there but accidentally disturb the victims and get eaten alive.
