Please help me pay for euthanasia and cremation of my dog. About my dog: His name is Koda. He is a 15 year old labrador mutt that my family go as a puppy when I was 13. I took him with me when I ran away from them because they were abusive to him too (my mom even had an affinity for kicking him in the testicles). He previously had cancer (but had surgery to remove the tumor), which is likely coming back, and has degenerative myleopathy and is now to the point where he can no longer get himself up from lying down on his own (but barks for me to lift him up) and is losing the ability to walk on his own more and more. I don’t want to let him get to the point where he can’t move at all anymore, as that seems like it will be extremely stressful for him.

About myself: I have been struggling for basically my whole life. My parents were extremely abusive. My parents also removed me from school when I was 8 years old and I have only a third grade education. The house I was living in in 2016 burned down (no insurance, lost everything I owned), then my apartment also burned down in 2018. I lost my car in 2019 due to irreparable mechanical problems. I have medical bills and medications that cost $100+ a month. I am in several thousand dollars of debt. I lost my job in 2020 but was denied unemployment, and was nearly evicted in September, although I have recently started a new job.

I would like to have him euthanized on April 9th, as that is when he will run out of his pain medications that cost $97 a month, but he is going downhill quite fast now and at this point it seems like the sooner I can have it done, the better.
