Pt.I of "Cold Skin" I performed my first solo about 5 years ago with the intention of breaking a boundary and exploring a new way to express myself. Dance has opened the door to so many amazing opportunities and I have learned so much from when I had started back in 2011. This piece right here to me is the best way to end 2017. So much has happened in the past year, good and bad. I kept reminding myself that in order to become the person I want to be and inspire others to do the same I have to keep my chin up and keep moving forward. Life is full of darkness and things that will make as feel as though we are small and worthless, but in reality we are the strongest thing we know, we are the light and the power that will lead us to inevitable glory. This is a revamped solo with the intention I had 5 years ago. Pick myself back up and fight against those forces that have brought me down. Don't usually post class choreo often but this was one of the most inspiring and humbling moments I've had in a while on this dance journey. Being able to dance with my best friend and with choreography from @mikeosong , @kinjaz who I've been looking up to from the east coast for years, was definitely something to remember and share with all of you.
