So I just got finished with part three…
And it was amazing the ending was so unexpected and perfect and I loved it. Both Mob and Whispy did a great job with their acting and line delivery and I love the fact that the comedy is still present within the video (like literal toilet humor) and not to mention the animations are wonderfully made and that's not even touching on the implied story.
If you can't tell I'm trying really hard not to spoil anything.
But aside from that, I'd like to point out something that I don't think anyone else has pointed out yet. And that's the fact that Mob is a genius for making each of these videos 20 minutes long or around that margin.
All three videos together make up about an hour and maybe if two or three minutes. And in a perfect world wherein assuming that he already had the story planned out, all of Whispy's lines, animations, and Cameo setup. He definitely could have just released it as an hour long video and called it a day. It still would have been really really popular, perhaps not as popular as it is now; but still popular.
But the thing is he didn't. He split it up into three and I think that was really smart. (intentional or not) Because given the current times, with how everyone's attention span is taken out back to the yard and shot mercilessly in the head. It definitely probably would have lowered viewer retention. Because while there are a lot of people who will sit down to watch hour long Minecraft videos with an intriguing story and funny well thought out characters, a lot of people won't.
