I have so many opinions on post-canon Hansry, but it gets foggy on the historical elements that occur so I will speak generally.

I think my favorite idea is not that they immediately fall into bed with one another. I think it's a bit slow coming back. Henry, for sure, thought he was going to die, so when he doesn't and both of them are alive and they have to deal with the consequences of their actions, they just don't for a little while.

But the tension is there. Every touch between them feels more obvious than the last. People start picking up on how their dynamic changed because Hans used to hang off of Henry before they even confirmed their feelings for one another. They were close. Henry couldn't shut up about the guy and would talk about 'his lord' every second he got.

And I think Hans starts getting nervous that he fucked it all up, so he starts pushing Henry. He gets a bit more demanding thinking that Henry doesn't care for him anymore but he's still in his service (which is insane because Henry still does whatever Hans wants him to do). But he keeps pushing Henry until, like always, Henry gets to his breaking point and pins Hans against the wall of the devil's den and asks "What the fuck is your problem?" and Hans, of course, will deflect because he can't be the problem. He cannot ALWAYS be the problem. Hans asks Henry why everything changed. Henry says, "You kissed me first" and Hans replies, "Yeah well you kissed me back and laid me down in this bed we made together..." And Henry's hand will loosen around his lord's throat and he'll take a step back and tell him to gather his things they're going to go on a hunt for a few days. Which is the beginning of a several day fuck fest. If blue lights existed, they would NOT want to go to their hunting camp and see how every surface is just covered in fluids.

But they wouldn't talk about Hans's future. Not for a long time. They have months before Jitka will be coming down to Rattay and they do what they can to make the most of it together. I think the both of them explore the core of what it is to find someone you truly, deeply love. How addicting it is. How you get a craving to be near someone. How the things that person does that could annoy anyone else, you find incredibly endearing. How falling asleep alone doesn't hit in the same way it does sleeping next to them. I think Hans tells Henry he loves him the night before his wedding and promises things won't change between them and Henry knows he's lying a little bit because things will have to change in order to keep their secret. Hans builds out his Castle to make room for both Jitka and Henry, but Henry gets to sleep in Hans's room as both a bedwarmer (actual thing) and his bodyguard. Henry steps into the role of a partner more than Jitka would and quite literally stands behind Hans in all his meetings as his counselor. I also think that Hans would Knight Henry because Radzig is a disappointment. I think Henry would proudly wear the Lords of Leipa colors and since Skalitz was never rebuilt in history, I think Henry decides that rebuilding what was lost should be more focused on how he can reshape the future.

I think that they're not a perfect couple, but they're very much a standard couple. They have their arguments and annoyances. They have needs that need to be met and disappointments when things don't go their way, but there's still love and respect. I think that Henry becomes God Father to Hynce and Henry loves that boy like his own son.

I don't think anyone ever finds out about Henry and Hans, and even if they did, they couldn't say anything without being completely destroyed politically considering Hans is actually quite beloved in his towns. I think eventually, perhaps, Jitka chooses to overlook one of the other hamlets that Hans runs and has her own life separate from him (it's said that there's no record of them having a loving relationship). And I think in order for Hynce to be a great man some day (and he is) he would have to have a great father. I think Hans is way more invested in his child's life compared to how anyone was interested in his (outside of Henry). God, okay this is getting WAY too long. I'm stopping here.
