Is it just me or does this tell us literally nothing more than what we knew at the end of the finale? Except for the title I guess. But that doesn’t help much either!

Looking at promo pictures on the CBS Press Express site, there's none of DENSI or NERIC! There are several of Hetty & Mac and Harm, Sam, & Callen. There's also one of Fatima. Come on show there's 4 other MAIN CHARACTERS!!!!

Yeah, especially since we know Kensi and Deeks are sitting across from Fatima at the table.

And I think it might be 10x26 because Kensi’s outfit looks like the same as Dani’s IG “ Today is the last day of season X of @ncisla “.

I've only watched the past two episodes of NCIS: LA for the JAG arc and I'm a little confused about something. Why did they already shoot the season premiere and the episode after that - was it to accommodate Catherine and DJE's schedule or something they always do?

They do it sometimes, but not always (like after seasons 6 and 8 for example). Sometimes it’s just a matter of confirmation for the next season. When they get it early they can prepare and shoot episodes for the new season, if it comes late… well ;-) It gives them a little bit of an early start into the new season. They can start later than other shows with their shooting because they already have two episodes under their belt.

In this case it’s likely the schedules of Catherine and DJE also have something to do with it since now they had the time to shoot it, how it looks in the fall, who knows…? But as I said, it’s not uncommon for LA to shoot eps for the new season early on.

I’m trying to remember what all we’ve seen of the S11 episodes, but beyond the continuation of the finale, do we know if the other episode is the next one after? Or could it be a later episode like we saw done for seasons 7 and 9? Just curious.

It could be both I guess. But if they follow their usual pattern, it’s probably a later one. If Dani gets a new haircut over the summer I guess we’ll know when it airs ;-)

I think Kyle Harimoto said the JAG arc was 3 episodes. 10×23, 10×24, and 11×01.

CBS isn’t holding out on its NCIS heroes: The network has renewed NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans for Seasons 11 and 6 respectively, TVLine has learned.

What if CBS does what they did for CSI? They don’t renew NCIS:LA for season 11, but they combine the 2 additional episodes into a 2 hour series finale movie. I hope not

See this is what I’m worried about.

Let’s everyone breathe, I’m sure all will be fine. This is just like the panic following Deeks buying the bar last year, everyone came back, we still have our team, no worrying needed till we hear otherwise.

(Also I feel like they would not have promoted the wedding as heavily as they did if they were planning on ending this year)

@mashmaiden I agree, also I don’t think they’d end the series with 4 episodes JAG arc. They can’t. When it ends, it should be about the team.

WTF?! They really need to write one backstory for Mama B and share it with the rest of us. Just sayin.

I’ve always assumed Deeks is her maiden name (her use of the prefix “Mrs” is a semantic misnomer). My heacannon is that Brandel and Roberta were engaged when they found out she was pregnant with Marty (like Dani and David were with River in real life). They got married after she gave birth. Then after Marty shot Brandel, she divorced him and changed their last names to Deeks.

This video implies that she was married twice. It’s very possible that her second marriage was so short lived, Deeks didn’t get to know the guy long enough to actually get attached or form a relationship much like some of Dinozzo Sr’s marriages (Tony Jr. didn’t seem to have any relationships with his stepmothers) on the regular NCIS. Of course it’s possible Deeks never met the guy. I think there was an estrangement between Marty and Roberta (not as long as the one between Kensi & Julia but a few years at least) because of his career changing from lawyer to cop. It explains not knowing about her until her sudden appearance in season 7.

I actually had thought Deeks was Roberta’s second husband’s name until Deeks said his Grandpappy’s name was “Clifford Jeremiah Deeks” (Roberta’s father I assume) in “Warrior Of Peace” (9x16).

Because, though it could be his making-up story like other times, in “Bounty” (2x08) he talked about his dad.

“My dad and I are polar opposites, ‘cause he’s the kind of guy that looks, like, six different directions before he crosses the street. He actually said to me, one time, he said that ‘if you don’t get your act together, you’re gonna spend the rest of your life trapped in this town.’ You know, just like every other loser that’s too scared to venture out in the world and make his mark. And…”

Then when he was asked “You ever wonder what your dad thinks about you?” Deeks said, “No. He never got it, anyway. Dude moved to Iowa.”

It could be Brandel and “Iowa” meant “jail,” but I thought there could be another dad when he was teen.

Well Brandel did die in a car accident in Iowa. That is where he lived when he got out of jail according to Nell’s research in the episode “Personal”. Hetty had asked her to look up Deeks’s father.

Oh, was it in Iowa? I thought they didn’t say where he died. I need to check it out later. Thanks!
