the reason i do also believe armand didn't only stalk daniel and never interacted with him is the fact that he served daniel the paris proposal dessert and also wore purple when we learned alice wore purple as well. now, it could be a way for armand to feel close to daniel using alice as a proxy but to me those instances are for daniel to somehow remember him, or feel closer to him in a way that should be also a comfort to daniel. and, as far as we know, daniel wasn't aware of armand's presence in that way. so... what gives?

like let’s be real what tv shows are well known coming from amc these days. dark winds (good show), the potential terror new anthology. but the biggest one? Iwtv. it’s their new halt and catch fire/mad men prestige tv show. the only one with a real caliber. and they know it and rolin knows it. despite evident conflicts between the higher up/network and rolin and his creative team they both know that the show is THE prestige tv show they have to push for. amc wants money, iwtv gives them money and buzz and actual presence in the streaming/tv show world. that show is staying on air until it’s done.

considering they canceled talamasca after like only 6 months and are going to end Mayfair on season 3 I think it’s pretty safe to say that amc might have recognized that trying to make an immortal universe wasn’t the way to go and focusing on iwtv is the most logical next step. this show isn’t getting cancelled. I’m not worried.

things that I’ve noticed out of the dm bench leaks is that armand makes sure to tell daniel he saved him while alice was pregnant. and while he does say he kept doing that for 52 years I find it interesting that it’s during a time that, if we follow the hints, happen after they potentially broke up (or around that time) when armand couldn’t be in Daniel’s conscious presence.

rolin saying that the auction scene happens in season 5 has me wrecking my brain. what’s the timeline now? I don’t think akasha has been 100% defeated by the time the auction takes place but body thieving imo happened. but so many questions
