Needless to say, the papers ended up being fought over and have been making their rounds around your acolytes. It started with Ei, who insisted that as an archon she also should see the creator's work with her own eyes. Then once Ningguang found out, she ordered they be handed over to a team of literary analysts in order to be properly handled and deciphered. Things got really messy quick, but have luckily come to a halt as none of the acolytes want the creator to know their random writings are being fought over.
Especially when it comes to the creator's sullen additute. Their acolytes first have to convince their holiness that their inability to read and understand the creator's writing shouldn't prevent you from doing what you love. In fact... could they convince you to write some more?

You were always anxious turning in essays, letting friends proofread them, anything that would expose your writing to more eyes, because you’d learned the hard way early on that as you get older and better at something, the stuff from the beginning… starts to look a lot different than you remember.
things you used to be proud of after having completed them in the moment, were something you struggled not to rip to shreds a year or two after you re-found it.
If it weren’t for other writers advising holding onto old work so you can see your progress over time, you’d have probably literally nothing older than one year on your ao3, wattpad, etc…
So when you had the fortunate luck (no it is not unfortunately, you are very happy to be here tbh) to fall headfirst into your video game you’ve been obsessed with lately,
You were not planning on showing them any of your writing.
Why would you, after all? You’ve got the weapons, the artifacts, everything they need to be more powerful. Why would you show them a silly little story you wrote? Fanfic or otherwise, not that theyll recognize any characters besides themselves, but still.

You’d gotten your hands on an old journal (if made you feel better than something completely new, a nice worn leather journal, sold at a secondhand shop from an old adventurer) and had started to write what you could remember about some of your ideas you’d had drafts for in your old world
After initially walking in on you writing in the House of Daena (it was the closest you could get to lofi girl, god u missed her lmao), you nearly jumped a foot in the air bc Haitham’s a nosy bitch and leaned over your shoulder and scared the absolute shit out of you, mans goes from asking politely, to begging you to let him read some of your writing over the course of 3 weeks (a month really)
Finally, after this 6 ft (about 180cm) man leans down one day (you’re sitting writing again), and gives you the most insanely good?? puppy dog eyes??? you’ve ever seen on a man???
you give in, revise a draft about 5 times in a row, lose sleep bc ur having a breakdown about alhaitham judging ur writing the night before you give him his copy-
and hand over a small short story for him to read. you specifically leave a little note not to judge you so hard for Haitham bc u werent used to people reading ur work/let alone someone as highly academic as him, ESPECIALLY since your speech is already so much more archaic than his/all of Teyvats-
His stupid green eyes with diamonds look into your soul (are they sparkling??) and he braces your shoulders after you give him his copy,
“Mine Greatest Guide, you hath deemed this one worthy of thy trust of your creations personally, I would be a fool to gaze upon it in jest. To take this work as anything less than a masterpiece in its infant stages.”
…you just leave him to it, and are nearly running out of there (u managed to be calm enough to just speedwalk),
and you make a point to not ask what he thought about it, or even bring it up at all

Oh god, you’d been agonizing over the spelling errors you’d missed when you gave it to Alhaitham, and now it’s just out there???

Cyno who lounges around shirtless frequently, not realizing the effect it had on you. He felt at ease in your shared home, and as soon as he was off the clock, the armor came off, revealing his bare skin.
Cyno was toned to perfection, he wasn't the tallest of men, but he was far from weak. He was pure muscle, tanned, sculpted, muscle. His skin featured a few scars from his training days. He had become much more careful now, close to untouchable. He would come home with a few scratches every now and then, but remained relatively unscathed.
Cyno would catch you staring, as clever as he was, he was relatively dense. He was unaware of what you were staring at. Did his scars look ugly? Was there something on his back? Little did he realize you were gawking at him, taking in every inch of his skin.
Cynos skin was extremely soft, the only rough part was his hands which were calloused and rough from wiedling his weapon. You sometimes mindlessly rest a hand on his back or shoulder when he's shirtless, impressed with just how soft his skin really is, even as the general mahamatra!
Cyno radiates heat, this is no surprise. From spending his entire life in the desert, his body now naturally radiated the heat of the desert sand. It felt good when you were cold, but having him around as a radiator was incredibly inconvenient sometimes, especially when you both are in the desert, and being physically affectionate with him only makes you more miserable. However, on those cold nights, he'd grown fond of you burying yourself into his back or chest. He radiated the most heat there, and he knew that too. You had only told him how warm he was a million times. Hell, sometimes you'd stick a cold hand up his shirt just to warm yourself up, it'd make him jump a little, but he'd relax and let it happen.
Cyno had incredibly sexy arms. For a smaller frame, his biceps were massive, and he had prominent veins lining his arms. He'd flex if you asked him too, and it never gets old. He doesn't understand your obsession with his arms, but hes appreciative of it nonetheless. With that being said, his muscle didn't stop at his arms, his shoulders and back muscles were defined, and everytime he shifted or moved you were reminded of how strong he truly was. You'd watch as he would take off his armor when he got home, it didn't look heavy, but you could tell how heavy it was from the way his back and shoulders tensed, highlighting every muscle. Cyno had so many attractive features, but his abundance of muscle might take the first place trophy.

I don't think Arlecchino would actually adopt adepti!MC, but would probably get a sense of nostalgia by how unintentionally childlike they are. is unlikely to hurt them, and they are unlikely to help the traveler fight her. I like to believe they would just click with the melusines, but there's just not enough time for them to have a gigantic bond before the plot decides it's time to start attacking. the timeline is somewhat... adepti!MC shows up around half a month to a little over a week before traveler. they just befriend everyone! except a few people they hate in advance from playing the game(all across the game, not just fontaine), they will befriend and care for everyone, it doesn't matter how many colourful beams of light brighten their world, each one is special to adepti!MC!
probably vocalized a wish for the whole fontaine thing to work out and the people to not die, and HP!MC in the background like 'fuckfuckfuckfuck they're all gonna die, uuh, the dragon'll fix it i hope.'
Love how HP!MC is freaking and being like "The dragon will fix shit-". 🤣
So. I had a WILD dream that Rin was abducted while Irene was traveling with the Inugang.
(And that Irene could travel through the well with Kagome but eh that’s not canon to the fic so, lol.)
Irene found, like, a little Tsuzumi drum she had given Rin as something to play with and was USING IT WITH HER SHIKIGAMI to track her location.
There were like three shrines, Irene had flown far ahead of the group in her panic to find Rin, and she cleared like two of them (each had a demon she had to kill) before the big boss (a type of water demon) made himself known in the third (which had a well that led underground very TotK style) where Rin was being kept. Essentially locked Irene up with her so as to lure out Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru hunts him down into a FOURTH shrine that’s like a ways off from the other three, and Irene manages to get out of the underground but tells Rin to stay put since it wasn’t safe with the big bad still around. Sneaks out just to find the shrine and discover them all fighting in this huge arena of water within the temple.
Sesshomaru and Inu are both in the bubble, and everyone else are kinda watching and freaking out because they can’t do much. Kagome’s arrows and Sango's Hiraikotsu failed to pop the bubble. Sess be kinda looking worse for wear though, so Irene tries to break the barrier to heal him. Big bad realizes what Irene is capable of and is all, “With your powers, I could be invincible. With your healing, I could be IMMORTAL.” Or something like that.
Sess does NOT like that. Dude starts getting even more aggressive with his fighting. There was a bit where he and Irene got like swept up into some underground ruins via a huge water attack (kinda like Hydro Pump lol) and Irene questions if he even remembered what happened when she left the Feudal Era originally and Sess REFUSES to look at her. His ears be red.
But they discover the tunnels lead back to Rin, so Irene takes her with them this time, and they fly back to the big bad on Sess’ fur to finish him off. The Big Bad's true form is like a giant squid/octopus thing.
He was also like one of four generals???? Of Naraku's??? Which was really weird and made no sense to me, but yeah.
Based off that one idea where Furina!MC is multilingual and visits Snezhnaya for a business confrence.
But Furina!MC is dead on her feet, coffee barely kicking in along with maybe only getting about 30 minutes of sleep in the last 3 days, which means... she has absolutely no filter at the moment.
Or better yet, no filter in any of the languages she knows.
"Ugh... what I would do to climb him like a fucking tree-" she's dead ass looking at either Pierro or Capitano.
Who hears her say this? And reactions please!
I would love this to be during a meeting between her, some Fontaine delegates, Snezhnayan delegates, the Harbingers, and the Tsaritsa.
A unhinged, sleep deprived Furina!MC happens to say that sentence in a random language from earth... and unknowingly to her, this language happens to be the equivalent to Khaenri'ahn in Teyvat.
And boy oh boy, you can only imagine both Pierro AND Capitano's reaction to both the fact she spoke Khaenri'ahn and she said something so unhinged! C-climb them like a tree?! I'm sorry, but what?!
This is made funnier if she still looking straight at them, eyes tired but hungry, like she either wants to eat them or jump across the table at them... probably both.
And then, as to add the cherry on top... Furina!MC finally crashes. Girl practically passes out in her chair and falls to the floor.

In the latest update of GI Paimon was revealed to be a baby from Celestia the Pierro accidentally summoned so when he comes back to his shared house Lummie goes “ OH MY STARS SHE’S ADORABLE!!!” And just stars calling baby Paimon her’s and Pierro’s daughter, and mackuing jokes about it. What u think?

I have to say that I'm rather intrigued by this! I can definitely see the vision though! I'll add this stuff in!
For all Lumine!MC keeps her secrets from her housemate about her previous life, there are certain habits she can't hide.
One of those happens to be walking into a room so silently that it's like she teleported. Pierro knows she's in one place and then she's in another with him attempting to calculate absolutely how she got there without him noticing.
It has given him many a jumpscare. Particularly when he makes food and he's listening out for her. He doesn't though. Yet when he turns slightly to his right... There is Lumine!MC, hovering right beside him. It startled him enough that he screeched the first time it happened. Even after several more times, he still jumped at least a little bit.
He asked her why she walked so quietly and she thought about it before she shrugged.
"It was best to be as quiet as possible and stay out of the way back home. Both my twin brother and I learned how to navigate places with complete silence."
Pierro nods when hearing this, while mentally putting Lumine!MC's family (besides her twin) on his shit list. "Best to be as quiet as possible and stay out of the way"? What sort of family did she and her twin have?! Clearly not a good one!
Besides that, Lumine!MC also had a habit of not telling people (besides her brother) things and brushing things off.
"Tis but a scratch, my dear housemate."
"You're losing blood from deep gashes! Those are not just "scratches"! Go get medical attention now!"
"I'll be fine."
Pierro proceeds to drag her to a healer and puts her on house arrest until she's healed. Then he makes it up to her by going adventuring with her to find good potion ingredients.
When Lumine!MC goes adventuring with Dainsleif, Pierro pulls him aside.
"Keep an eye on her. She has a talent for appearing out of nowhere and brushing off major injuries."
"Alright. Thank you for this information."
"Of course."
Pierro came to many conclusions (that Dainsleif also comes to) regarding Lumine!MC.
1. Her family (besides her twin who was in the same boat as her) neglected her. Enough that she went out of her way to avoid them. It certainly explained why she kept things to herself and brushed things off.
2. Her home life was monotonous. From what he managed to glean from how little she said, she and her twin weren't allowed outside much and the few times they were allowed out, it wasn't far. It certainly explained why Lumine!MC went stir crazy when forced to stay in one place.
3. Where she had lived before was dangerous and she and her twin hadn't been prepared. This was another thing that he gleaned from very minimal information. She barely spoke of her old home, but given how quiet she got when speaking of certain things that happened and how she touched her neck and shoulders like she was remembering injuries, it was a dangerous place that she hadn't been prepared to face.
Pierro kept that information to himself though. Even though it made him fume to think about what a lady like Lumine!MC had been through, there was no changing the past. All he could do was hug her and think about making things different.
(Until the Cataclysm happened and he nearly lost his mind when she disappeared.)
With Aether!MC, Dainsleif definitely gained more context about the twins' living situation. Aether!MC wasn't afraid to tell Paimon about his past life and Dainsleif learned a LOT from listening to Aether!MC yap to Paimon about this place called "Gotham" and his family situation.
Needless to say, Dainsleif was downright horrified learning what he did. Whenever he and Aether!MC met up, Dainsleif shadowed Aether!MC and eyed him like a hawk, dragging him out of danger. He's protective of Aether!MC now and always makes sure to hug him before he leaves.
(Dainsleif is horrified thinking about the twins living in a place where crime ran rampant, with so many deranged villains with a grudge against their family in particular that were threats to the twins, and being a part of a family that was centered on vigilantism that neglected them yet made them stay in the house more often than not? Dainsleif is fuming! No wonder the twins are as fucked up as they are! They weren't given adequate good attention!)
As you said, Quiet, Venti definitely overhears the conversation using the winds and he is positively disturbed. He ABSOLUTELY tells the other Archons about what Aether!MC went through and they are all disturbed too.
Aether!MC goes to Liyue? Zhongli is constantly hovering and stares down anyone who looks at Aether wrong.
Aether!MC goes to Inazuma? Ei is there and bringing him right to where the baku have their bathhouse so that he can relax.
Aether!MC goes to Sumeru? Nahida is there to greet him personally and lets Aether treat her like a little sister, sensing that taking care of someone helps ease his heart.
Aether!MC goes to Fontaine? Furina "suddenly" needs his help with filming arrangements and Neuvilette is hovering nearby (no one talks about the massive typhoon that happened when Neuvilette first got the news, he may hate the Usurpers but he hates what Aether!MC and his twin went through more).
Aether!MC goes to Natlan? Mavuika gets everyone who is friends with him together and throws a party just for Aether!MC that isn't just celebrating him as "Tumaini".
Aether!MC goes to Nod Krai? Feral little sister Columbina who bites anyone with bad intentions (including Dottore). Lauma finds out through Columbina and suddenly she's wrapping Aether in blankets. Lauma is now big sister. There is no escape. She is going to coddle him like he's her little brother even if she doesn't have siblings.
Aether!MC goes to Snezhnaya? The Tsaritsa adopts him on sight. Traumatized traveler who never got the chance to have a loving parent? Get the adoption papers immediately for him and his sister. The Tsaritsa may not outwardly show emotion, but she is still going to mother the siblings.
And because I want to, Venti also tells Dvalin of the situation and Dvalin becomes horribly protective and possessive of Aether!MC. He just learned that the human courting him went through what could only be described as hell! So hell yes that dragon is going to be extra protective!
Learning about this could also be what speedruns their relationship in the right direction as Dvalin definitely knows when to take an opportunity.
They take it slow and build trust... until both of them are far too in the mood to hold back.
Lumine!MC is just doing Abyss Princess stuff and is generally safe... until she gets far too close to Snezhnograd (because she and her brother do still have their gossip sessions) and Pierro spots her.
So, she runs. Unfortunately, he chases after her.
How is he still so fast?!
All my homies in Genshin Impact hate Gotham and the Batfam. They nearly ruined a pair of amazing, badass, beautiful twins, and no one in Teyvat (cough, cough, Pierro and Dvalin especially-) is gonna let this fly under the radar.
And seriously, I can only imagine if any of the Genshin characters saw Gotham for real. Like, ew, brother ew! What's wrong with this place?! Even the Abyss feels cleaning than this hell hole!
Also, oh god, I would love for Aether!MC to drop more lore on how his old worked with super heros and villains.
Like can you imagine certain character's reaction to JOKER. They would be asking Aether!MC why that thing hadn't been killed yet, and then they're all like "What do you mean your 'dad' refuses to kill him even after that thing killed so many people?!"
Sides that, I do love how all of Teyvat, be it gods, immortals or mortals all become protective over the twins. At this point I see Teyvat just spiritually claiming the MC twins, cause Gotham is a shit hole who didn't deserve them.
And also... that ending. 👀
Old, sexy man about to hunt down Lumine!MC? I would say run, but I think Pierro deserves to catch her. After all, its been 500 years since he's last seen her... they should catch up. 😏🤭

By the time MC’s done with them, they’re far more scared of “specialized field training with Boss Scaramouche” than they are of not making any profits.
Whenever they look at MC, they’re pretty sure they’re hallucinating the Ruler of Death.

Wanderer!MC did training Lohen-style? ...Now I need the two to meet, maybe they can swap training suggestions? Imagine all the trainees on both Fatui and Knight sides looking on with horror.
So, I've been looking at all of these "Neglected Bat Sis/Mom/Bro" AUs with different MCs and I had an idea.
Neglected Bat Siblings Aether!MC and Lumine!MC.
Twins who weren't allowed to go outside often and as a result, found a way to sneak out (with Albert's help of course) and yet were woefully unprepared for Gotham because no one in their family (besides Albert, but even then he's busy enough) ever taught them how to handle everything that is wrong with Gotham.
They died of a villain attack (Albert felt extremely guilty but was relieved upon meeting them again in their new bodies) and became Aether!MC and Lumine!MC. Their first thought? Fuck yeah, we can go adventuring without constraints now! Their second thought? Oh shit, we're in Genshin Impact 😰. Their third thought? We're both royally screwed!
After making plans (and having a one hour presentation on who would make the best Abyss Prince/Princess), they decide it's time to go adventuring. After a lot of training, of course.
The two go adventuring after getting extremely buff and just go with the flow until they get to Teyvat. They then play rock paper scissors to decide who becomes the Abyss sibling. Lumine!MC wins and so she's set on becoming the Abyss sibling.
It'll be a nice middle finger to give her family if they find a way to her and her brother.
So, Lumine!MC is in Khaenri'ah, stays with Pierro for a time (and she was appreciating her housemate with her eyes, trust), goes adventuring with Dainsleif, and just does her thing until the Cataclysm.
Both Aether!MC and Lumine!MC do things according to canon, including fighting the Unknown God. Lumine!MC becomes the Abyss Princess while Aether!MC sleeps for his time period until he wakes up and canon begins.
He meets Paimon, they go to Mondstat, Stormterror appears to wreck things, and things go mostly according to canon with the fight with Dvalin being the pinnacle of Aether!MC's first experience battling a dragon. He does continue his journey with Paimon in the end though.
But even as he meets with his sister, speaks with her, and adventures through other nations, his feet always bring him back to Mondstat. There is something about the nation of freedom that calls to Aether!MC and his heart.
He hangs out and spars with Dvalin more often than not while allowing Paimon to go greet people in the city. There's something about being next to such a large being that could crush him easily and yet chooses to respect and be gentle with Aether!MC that has him interested.
His "father" would probably pitch a fit if he knew that Aether!MC preferred to spend his time with a "beast", but Aether!MC didn't care. He hoped that he and the rest of the family choked on rocks! Except for his beautiful sister Lumine!MC. She was perfect and the rest of the family wasn't.
It's rather freeing to talk about everything with Dvalin who listens to Aether!MC speak and seems to remember every detail. It's emboldening that Aether!MC can't help going back with gifts (which are usually treasures he found).
Unfortunately (or fortunately), Dvalin starts thinking that Aether!MC is courting him with all of the treasures he brings and is trying his best to reciprocate.
