So, guys. I decided to submit my idea for a Kimchi flavored chip. If you guys like the idea, then please do gives it a THUMBSUP! :)
https://www.dousaflavor.com/#!/flavors/details?id=6977791
Now this is a great idea, especially if you don't want the whole kimchi smell fermenting in your fridge.Ā
South Korea is running out of kimchi.
Doesn't that just make you want some kimchi with your food tonight?
YukgaejangĀ is a spicy,Ā soup-like Korean dish made from shreddedĀ beefĀ withĀ scallionsĀ and other ingredients, which areĀ simmeredĀ together for a long time. It is a variety ofĀ gomguk, or thick soup, which was formerly served inĀ Korean royal court cuisine. It is believed to be healthful and is popular due to its hot and spicy nature.[1]
In addition to shredded beef, scallions, and water, the dish generally also includes bean sprouts,Ā gosariĀ (brackenĀ fern),Ā torandaeĀ (taroĀ stems), slicedĀ onion, dangmyeonĀ (sweet potato noodles),Ā chili powder,Ā garlic,Ā perilla seedsĀ (also called wild sesame seeds),Ā soy sauce, oil (sesame oilĀ and/or vegetable oil),black pepper, andĀ salt.Ā Chili oilĀ may also be used.[1]Ā YukgaejangĀ is generally served with a bowl of rice andĀ kimchi.
The dish may alternatively be made withĀ chickenĀ rather than beef, in which case it is calledĀ dak yukgaejangĀ orĀ Dakgyejang.

BanchanĀ (Hangul:Ā ė°ģ°¬;Ā hanja: 飯é„;Ā EnglishĀ pronunciation:Ā /ĖbÉĖntŹÉĖn/; also spelledĀ panch'an) refers to small dishes of food served along with cooked rice inĀ Korean cuisine. This word is used both in the singular and plural. The word Banchan translated to English basically means side dish.
The basic table setting for a meal called 'bansang' (ė°ģ) usually consists ofĀ bapĀ (ė°„, cooked rice),Ā gukĀ orĀ tangĀ (soup),Ā gochujangĀ orĀ ganjang,Ā jjigae, andĀ kimchi. According to the number ofĀ banchanĀ that is added, the table setting is called asĀ 3 cheopĀ (ģ¼ģ²©),Ā 5 cheopĀ (ģ¤ģ²©),Ā 7 cheopĀ (ģ¹ ģ²©),Ā 9 cheop(구첩),Ā 12 cheopĀ (ģģ“첩)Ā bansang, with theĀ 12 cheopĀ used inĀ Korean royal cuisine.[1]
BanchanĀ are set in the middle of the table to be shared. At the center of the table is the secondary main course, such asĀ galbiĀ orĀ bulgogi, and a shared pot ofĀ jjigae. Bowls of cooked rice andĀ gukĀ (soup) are set individually. Banchan are served in small portions, meant to be finished at each meal and are replenished during the meal if not enough. Usually, the more formal the meals are, the moreĀ banchanĀ there will be.Ā JeollaĀ province is particularly famous for serving many different varieties ofĀ banchanĀ in a single meal.
