I’ve scripted very far away from “canon” with my dr. I’m a halfblood raised by muggles, I don’t meet my witch mother until later.

The school itself is different, still the 70s but accepting of all genders, sexualities, races, etc.

Exchanges are also a thing for the older students, you can sign up to spend 3 weeks at a school in a different country learning about different languages, cultures, magic practices, etc

Oh and ravens instead of owls.

- trans kids can choose which dorm they prefer

- internships for students in the later years

- family weekends (with quidditch match)

- sabbats instead of christian holidays

- actual robes as uniforms

- you can be in the opposite dorm up until curfew

- no hogsmeade permission needed

- I have a secret twin I learn about later

- a ‘muggle studies’ room that becomes a hangout spot for all houses

- my slow burn obvs

- ravens and crows instead of owls

- classes can be held outside when the weather is nice

- there are tons of groups and clubs to join

- school starts at age 14 so it’s more like high school and uni

- seventh years can choose private quarters or off campus living

- you can ‘major’ in literally anything you want

- a dressmaker who custom makes all my party attire and ball gowns

- grand balls 2x each school year

Like if I go to bed saying “I’m in my dr” every night, nobody is gonna know about it unless I tell someone.

Blasting story times and “this is how I shifted” type content on tt for however long then it turns out to be a lie is different ya know?
